February 13, 200422 yr I am going to say... Pavano Benitez Pierre Cabrera Jack is part of the selection process, so Marlins could have a lot of players. Beckett, Luis, Mikey, Penny, D Train. Pierre will have a tough time because of his lack of power numbers and an overload of outfielders. It will be interesting to see if Jack takes D Lee as a reserve. :hat The champ

Fans like JP...So if they want him to go than they will pick him...it dosent matter that he dosent have a lot of power...if the fans want him to go-than he will go-power has nothing to do with it-it has to do with who the fans want.

Only way I see him getting on the AS, is getting voted (1% chance happening) or having an Ichiro type year, when Ichiro won the MVP. The guy deserves to be there, let's sit back and see what happens

The guy deserves to be there, let's sit back and see what happens Last year one of the ESPN broadcasters suggested putting Pierre in if the needed someone to fill in as a pinch-runner. You have to be prepared for every situation, and I'm sure that would be a valid way for Jack to get Juanpy on there. Well I hope Jack dosen't care about what fans from other teams think-because I hate it when we don't get any players to go to the all-star game because of the manager in charge...and the Yanks always get so many players to go to the all-star game...that's not fair.

So many players on this team have been deserving before. I hope he picks Derrek in ChiTown, and I hope he picks anyone remotely deserving on this roster to make up for all the lost years.
February 13, 200422 yr I think that Lowell has the best chance of getting voted in (barring a monster showing by Cabrera), but our All-Stars should be Lowell, Beckett, Castillo and Pierre.
