February 19, 200422 yr I didn't think he'd ever come right out & said he'd back a constitutional amendment.... Although I heard him say yesterday he was "deeply troubled" by the marriage ceremonies already taking place.
February 19, 200422 yr 60% of the country opposes gay marriage. Why exactly would he be "raked over the coals?"
February 19, 200422 yr find me a link with 60% of the country against a constitutional amendment on gay marriage.
February 19, 200422 yr Actually, polls are showing that both Kerry and Edwards would each get more votes than Bush if the election was held today. I think Bush's mistakes will cost him. Since the State of the Union, both Democrats AND Republicans have been annoyed at his policy changes, including the idea to give visas to migrant Mexican workers. It's hardly a good sign when members of your own party are going against you. Don't count the Dems out this year.
February 20, 200422 yr Bush's arsenal is deeper than the arms barn at a militia hold out. He's got an awful lot of money to destroy any opponent. He could possibly beat jesus in an election.
February 20, 200422 yr bush is going to get raked over the coals for his pushing of a constitutional amendment outlawing gay marriages. Not when most of the country is strongly against gay marriage and most of the country, honestly, could care less about gay rights.
February 20, 200422 yr Bush's arsenal is deeper than the arms barn at a militia hold out. He's got an awful lot of money to destroy any opponent. He could possibly beat jesus in an election. They said the same thing about Papa Bush back in '92, and around this time in '92 people were getting pissed at Papa Bush for his crappy domestic policy. It's gonna be 1992 all over again.
February 20, 200422 yr Is Ross Perot running in 2004? No, so Bush will win. I miss Perot. I saw today that Nader might run again.
