My mom pronounces it "aint" almost. Why isn't the H pronounced in "honest". Why don't we pronounce the "t" in "listen". It's just the language.
February 23, 200422 yr My mother just took it...she scored a 48% (barely a Yank), but only one of her answers favored the south. Most were Western Great Lakes answers....makes me wonder how this thing is scored...
February 23, 200422 yr 60% ...half my family is deep Southern and the other half are Irish immigrants in jersey and new york. My dialect is somewhat of a mix.

February 23, 200422 yr Author if you change your answers it adjusts your score. You gotta make sure that your first answer is the best answer. If not, clear scores and start over.
