March 1, 200422 yr Some Pics I took at workouts today.. Ramon stretching Josh talking to some invitee Cool pic of Josh...he actually looked over JP and The Train JP and Dontrelle again...getting ready to run Chad Fox J-Beck and...Chad Fox?...cant see Darren Oliver signing for someone Trader Jack, coming to sign Thats all I took today, I was to busy trying to get auto's on the practice fields to take that many.
March 1, 200422 yr Great Pics I am going again to Roger Dean Next week on Saturday, then i will head over to the Dodgers on Sunday.
March 1, 200422 yr Author Great pics. Did you get many autographs? Jack signed for a while, I got him on a ball and mini bat. Trevor Hutchinson, Carl Pavano, Ramon Castro, Mike Lowell, Chad Fox, Tim Spooneybarger, Kevin Hooper, Mike Mordecai,Armando Rios,Darren Oliver, Brad Penny and Bill Robinson signed for me on a ball as well. A lot of players were signing, it was just a matter of being in the right place at the right time, which I wasnt for most of the big names. The only person who didnt sign at all was Josh. Leeann pulled away in his Hummer and picked him up at a back exit so he didnt have to walk through the fans or have any contact with them. Miguel didnt sign much either.
March 1, 200422 yr Author Question: How were the players with you? pretty much all of them were taken through the fence when they pass close by. the Chad Fox pic was when he was switching fields he had to walk through a public area, thats pretty much the only pic. where there wasnt a fence seperating me from a player though.

March 1, 200422 yr That photo of Beckett and another guy....ahem...."stretching"....would be a great pic to caption. Man, sometimes (all the time?) I wish I lived in Florida, especially for things like this.

March 1, 200422 yr The facility is very open. I was there on Saturday morning with my daughter and we had a great time. The highlight of her trip (she's 3 years old!) was getting to say "Hi" to Josh Beckett as he was going between practice fields. We were the only ones around him. She said "Hi." He then stopped, put his hand on her shoulder and said, "Hey sweetheart, how are you doing?" She was in Seventh Heaven giggling. I didn't ask for an autograph because you can't do that while they're in the middle of workouts. But it was very nice of him to just do that little gesture, that's all I would've expected. My daughter did manage to get a ton of autographs, though. We got Carl Pavano, AJ Burnett, Alex Gonzalez, Chad Fox, Jack McKeon, Jeff Conine, and Lenny Harris. I have a baseball with all of last year's team on it (including Jeffrey Loria, Admin Beinfest, and David Samson). I only need three more guys to finish off the WHOLE TEAM (40 man roster): Dontrelle Willis, Juan Pierre, and Miguel Cabrera.
