i realize that they need to play with urgency but making a starter come out of the pen a few days after a start and then making him start a few days later and follow that routine from july to september and october if you can get in can create problems for those guys... especially AJ. 452066[/snapback] Why they get paid to play, I think personally they should be ready for anything?! I was thinking since our bullpen hasn't really lived up to it's potential why dont we try and do what we did in the playoffs and use possibly willis or burnett in the bullpen.. It's just a thought that I am sure some have thought of, I know the cons of doing this but it's a cheap way of doing it instead of going to get bullpen help. I was thinking lets say AJ was pitching one night and willis had a start a couple days after why not bring him in for an inning and vise versa, sorry it's 12 am and I am just pissed about this bullpen even though they did well tonight ..so I am trying to just vent out possible solutions/ options and see what ya'll thought about it.

No Malone for me I can learn to forgive Shaq for being a Laker, but Karl Malone is asking too much. I think Haslem can be a capable starter, Allen also had very good stretches against the Pacers. Heat reportedly working on Shaq deal FOXSports.com It seems things have deteriorated so badly in Laker land that there's no chance or scenario in which Shaquille O'Neal would return to Los Angeles next season. Lakers owner Jerry Buss is committed to "deal" the superstar center, the Riverside Press-Enterprise reported Thursday. And one team that has emerged as a frontrunner for O'Neal's services and hefty contract is Miami. Sources told the newspaper that the Lakers have fielded about 17 or 18 offers and narrowed them down to about five or six. The deal with the Heat would include former Clipper Lamar Odom, Brian Grant and probably a first-round draft pick, sources said. The Lakers have asked for rookie sensation Dwyane Wade, but the Heat refuse to part with him. To make any deal work, the NBA stipulates that the Lakers have to come within 15 percent plus $100,000 of O'Neal's $27.6 million salary for next season. The tumultuous situation between Buss and O'Neal started during training camp, when O'Neal demanded an extension and yelled, "Now you gonna pay me!" at the owner during an exhibition game.
