Do you think koch should have more playing time?
I love Billy! He was so sweet at photo day it just fit with the Billy thread I think that he should recieve more playing time. Whenever I see Bump or Rudy being used 2-3 nights in a row I'm alway saying "Where's Billy??" :mad : One thing though- Use Billy for 1 inning. More than 1 and he starts to lose it a little. Billy is perfect for 1 inning like in the 7th possibly. (Before the 8th because the Kiss-Cam in on and they don't play Enter Sandman!)

Kruk: "The Marlins are the most complete team..."
This is so true! I was talking to my mom about this yesterday before I guess he said it lol Think about it... we may not be perfect but we are complete. Fast guy leading off.. Luis, another fast guy.. a guy batting thrid that doesn't strike out very much and puts the ball in play-those fast guys get on with him hitting and they're at 2,3 or home.. power in the middle.. Juan who can hit.. Alex who come up with a lot of key hit.. awesome DP combo along with good, good defense..good catcher so that people aren't running as much.. GREAT pitching staff when they all step up and do their job.. good bullpen.. great set-up man.. and an AMAZING closer! We're not perfect but we have so many important key things that, for most teams, is hard to say that you have.

No autographs at the season ticket holder event
It's not what the whole thing is for though. It's called PHOTO DAY.. not Autograph Day or Photo and Signing Day... Everyone get's stuff signed anyway but the players are in chairs.. no table or pens etc. because that's not what it's for. You get to take pics and meet the players. They used to have signings before games where I got some sigs and wayyy before that you'd have to run up the ramp to be the first few in line for autographs. They just recently had an autograph thing but you had to be in the fan club. I'm a season ticket holder and I thought it was unfair that I didn't get to go because I'd been in the club before and I'd had season tickets for years. Couldn't go, big deal. Trust me, bring a ball or folder..whatever with a pen and the player will sign it. If they say the can't then don't be mad at them or the people. THAT IS NOT WHAT PHOTO DAY IS FOR.

No autographs at the season ticket holder event
Hmmm I'm not sure what you're talking about but the event going on on saturday IS Photo Day :plain and you haven't been allowed to get autographs during that for a while. All you do is sneak it in when they aren't looking. Simple. If they see you they'll either yell at you OR if they don't really care then they don't care. Are we thinking of other things? I'm going to Photo Day on saturday and I've going to try and get things signed. :huh

Unknown facts about the Marlins
Armando likes Kenny Chesney and country music ^_^ and I'm not sure if this is true but I think Carl plays the drums. Did anyone see that eppie of Marlins Strikezone where they were talking about umpires? The girl asked Carl to call someone safe and he did it horrible and she said that it looked like he was playing an air guitar lol and he said "What? Noo I play the drums! And I can sing a little too!" lol it was very quickly and like really off-topic lol Don't know if it's really true though. Oh, and Carl, Brad, Josh, and Mikey like fishing. Once when Carl was fishing with Brad and his dad Carl had a rod in one hand and he was searching for his cell in the other while it was raining and Brad hooked him in the head with the hook lmao

Jack
He put in Mike Lowell in the 9th because Luis is a single's hitter that might have made an easy out. That's why. 511725 I can understand that but like again, it's just an opinion. I wouldn't put Mikey in when he was hurt and in a slump. I wanted to win that game as much as anyone did, including Mikey. Not the time for a guy in a big slump in my opinion.

Jack
What else is new *shakes head* Anyway people forget the "giving up" comments.

Jack
AP Marlins manager Jack McKeon couldn't see much of a difference between the two starts -- other than the performance of his inconsistent offense. "I don't know what ... to say anymore," he said. "I give up. It's almost, 'Which team is going to show up tonight?' And it's the same hitters. I am looking for a spark." I had to read that twice last night also but you can see what he is giving up on there. I saw the Herald article, they made it seem otherwise but you can see from the AP story what was meant when not taken out of context. 511714 Yeah actually that sounds much better. Thank you Then you can kinda block out me being really upset about the "giving up" quote. ^_^

Jack
He didn't mean he gave up on the season.? He meant he gave up on figuring out why the lineup is great 1 day and not the next. 511708 I know he wasn't meaning it directly on the season but... look, this is just a personal opinion and to me it seems like Jack doesn't care as much as he used too. I love Jack. As a fan though, I do believe that I have to right to NOT always agree with him. That's all that this is about. Being upset about certain decisions. EDITED

Jack
Outrageous? :nono 511664 I second that..... 511702 Hey, I said you may not agree. I love this team and Jack is a part of it and sometimes he's fine but other times I don't like his decisions. Nothing I can do.. just felt like ranting after him saying that he's "given up". I don't wanna hear it coming from him. BTW rferry I like a lot of what you said. Some of the things I did say you found out what I was going back too lol Ex- Perisho thing. I've been letting these thing go all year hoping for the return of the Jack that I believe in and trust but I'm still searching for him. Like I said, I don't ever was to hear "I give up" from my manager!

Jack
Alright. I really don't care if you people agree with me or not but I've had it with Jack. He is driving me crazy!! I don't care if he led the 2003 team to the World Series, I could care less! I don't want him managing my team with the decisions I've seen him make all year. Now when he IS right, it's just plain luck. I don't want a power hitter bunting in the 9th, I don't want to change pitchers for a match up when his numbers against the player are ignored, I don't want to take out Mikey to get a faster runner, I don't want to TRY and steal a base in the 9th, I don't want to take out a pitcher pitching a great game in the 5th or 6th inning to get a run in a one run ballgame and I don't want a guy who's in a slump and hurt batting with 2 outs in the 9th and the tying runs on base! What is wrong with letting Luis hit, get on base and then have LoDuca try and scrore the Winning or tying run? The Cab is up!! There was no need to put Mikey in! That's just saying that he doesn't care whether we win the game or not. He said in the paper this morning that "he gives up". I don't want that attitude managing my team! I want Jack gone. He's a great guy, he's funny and he loves the team. He's just making some really bad decisions in my eyes. I BELIEVE in this Marlins team! Yes, sometimes they have problems scoring runs and I don't understand why and that is NOT Jack's fault. But, he also contributes very much to certain things. I'm not complaining about my team or their owners... just their manager who has said the deadly words of "I give up".
