2003 World Series DVD
I have it and I watch it all the time. I always crack up about Roger Clemens' "last official start". Remember the end credits where it says that the Hall of Fame museum got his cap from his last start? I wonder, did they give it back when he "unretired"?

Did you get a hit? 669468 I got a couple of good hits in, but they always got me out at first! So this year I'm losing some friggin' weight so I can get to first before the ball does!

Marlins Fantasy Camp this Friday!
Hey everybody! Got back from Fantasy Camp! It was an absolute blast! We had Wayne Rosenthal, Charlie Hough, Jack Armstrong, Jeff Torborg, Dale Torborg, Tommy Hutton (The Commish) Jim Hutton, Bob Natal, John Shoemaker, Juan Bustabad, Alex Arias as our coaches. They were a trip! I was on Jeff and Dale Torborg's team, the Carolina Mudcats. Our pitcher pitched a 8-0 shutout in the first game and then we won 14-4 the second game. One of our players tripled twice and scored from first twice. The third game was called because it rained. We had to play three on Saturday because it rained so hard on Friday. At the Awards dinner on Saturday, our team took three of the five awards presented. Our pitcher won the Cy Young, one of the guys won Best Hitter and I won Best Personality. We had 5 women in the camp and I was one of the five. One of the women won the Gold Glove award. We almost beat the Pros in Sunday's game. We lost 3-2. Rosey taught me how to pitch correctly. He is a trip! I wish I could post the pictures on this site. We all received Charlie Hough bobblehead dolls. And he signed them. He is so funny! We all get our very own baseball cards, but we don't get them until the reunion at Pro Player (my bad, DOLPHINS (ugh) Stadium) in the summer. My picture was in the Palm Beach Post on Saturday. I was standing next to Charlie Hough. One of my co-workers told me he saw me on the news on Channel 7. Mike DiPasquale was one of my teammates and he interviewed me. It was so cool. Craig Minervini played on the Pro team for the Dream Game on Sunday and he interviewed me for Fox Sports News. Everybody kept calling me a celebrity. It was so funny. Those three days were the best time I have ever had in my whole life. I'm already signed up for next year. Andre Dawson was supposed to be there, but they had that meeting with Carlos Delgado on Saturday. Tim Spooneybarger came and hung out with us for a little while on Friday when we were being scouted by the Legends for the draft. My goal now is to lose weight and strengthen my throwing arm so I won't get hurt again next year! I hurt my arm and sat out the second game and Jeff Torborg let me keep score. BTW, the minimal age limit was 25. Go to www.allstaradventures.com to contact them for information on next year's camp. Tell them Kimberly told you about it. If there is a way for me to upload pics, please let me know!

Which 2005 season ticket plan are you getting?

Juan Pierre and the Marlins
I got hit by the Phillies at the last home game, and I'm not complaining about it. On second thought, maybe I should sue the Phillies...lol Hah! Yeah right!

Will Lowell be history in a couple of weeks?
Retired catcher Joe Girardi and former coach Harry Dunlop, 71, also are being considered by the Marlins. 592576 I would like to see Joe Girardi as a Marlin. Not sure in what position, though.

Out of curiousity...
I would love to go, but I'm saving for the marlins fantasy camp next year. 591804 The fantasy camp!!! Now that is worth going to. Hopefully next year I'll be able to make it. 591929 I can't wait to go! My own uniform, baseball cards, and an on-field appearance at PPS! Not mention meeting Charlie Hough, Andre Dawson and Tony Perez! :thumbup

Question for everyone.....
i became a marlins fan in 2001. before that i was a padres fan from 98 - present and yankees fan 99-present. i just like baseball in general. i liked it since i was a kid when my dad and i would watch Willie McGee back in the eighties, even though i didn't understand the game at that time. i got my first marlin autograph from Cliff Floyd in 2001 when Tony Gwynn was retiring. although they lost the game that night, he took the time to stop in his suv and sign stuff for everyone. i got Cal Ripken's autograph that year too, during his last game at Pro Player.

I just met Josias Manzanillo! PICS
I went to Manzy's signing. It was so cool. I had met him in July when the Marlins had the women's baseball clinic. He, Bill Robinson and Jeff Cox taught us to pitch, hit and field. I have pics but I will have to upload them later. When it was my turn to pitch, I threw a split-fingered fastball and he said it was perfect. One of the other ladies took a picture of my pitch right when it was going into his glove. So I used that picture in one of my projects for graphic design class. I took it Manzy's signing at Sedano's. I was the third person in line when he got there. There were a lot of people there at first, then everyone went to BJ's to see Mikey. When I showed him my project, his face lit up and he had the biggest grin that I had ever seen on him. He was like, "Oh my god! You were my best pitcher!" And he signed my project. When I went to the game that night, I was sitting in section 138, the section nobody sits in (which is right behind the bullpen, luckily for me ). He came out of the dugout and went onto the field to warmup for awhile. He came to the bullpen and was talking to Nate Bump (I think.). He looked up and saw me and started waving like crazy. I was cheezin' big time. Later on, when Carl Pavano finished practicing his warmups, Josias went and got the ball that Carl was throwing and threw it to me! I've got that bad boy secured in a case now! At the final home game, I was coming down the steps in the outfield reserved to watch the players warmup and Josias looked up and recognized me and waved again! It was so cool! He is so awesome. He takes time out to talk to his fans. Carl acted like he couldn't be bothered.
