I remember when there were discussions about the DVD on this message board when it was first released for sale. I have it. I bought it in December of '03. Who else has it?

 

I think the most amazing, (and ironic) part of the DVD was when they were celebrating Clemens' career and his dramatic "final" game in the World Series. They even had Jack commenting on how nice it was to see him play his last game.

 

That's classic.

 

Anyway, I remember when I first watched it--I had goosebumps. I haven't seen it in over a year, but I think I'll look through it again tomorrow. Oh, the memories.

ahh yes, the time we beat the yankees and nobody thought we would.

Good stuff....I watch it every couple months...the Clemens thing kind of pisses me off then I look at Lenny Harris in the video and I laugh so it all evens out I guess

I have that DVD and I love it! I wish it had more 2003 Division/Championship highlights on the DVD though!

I have it and I watch it all the time. I always crack up about Roger Clemens' "last official start". Remember the end credits where it says that the Hall of Fame museum got his cap from his last start? I wonder, did they give it back when he "unretired"?

I have it. MLB Productions did an excellent job with it. The same crew that makes "This Week In Baseball" made the DVD.

This is funny, i watched it last nite. My roommate and I had a bet and the loser had to watch a DVD of the other's choice. He was gonna make me watch some History of the yankees dvd, but he lost.

You can probably buy it at your local Best Buy or Circuit City.

 

I also have 1997 VHS and 2003 DVD.

any place that sells dvds, i know for a fact they have it at Virgin Megastore in Sunset Place

I got it for Christmas this year, and I love it, My dad gave it to me and he is a Yankee fan, he got it from Amazon

I also have both...and I recorded alot of the playoff games....tonight I watched game 5 Beckett vs. Zambrano - where Sosa goes ballistic after Beckett pitches up and in....great to see that action again....also have the game 4 against the Giants when Dontrelle pitches and hits a good game, then the monumental finish at the plate against Pudge.

 

I hope this year can be another post season play.

Same Here.. I taped all the 97' playoff games but in 2003 I was so nervous I didnt want to jinx the team so I didnt tape the playoff games. I wish I did.

I am dying to get the Cubs/Marlins game 6 and 7! I taped the 2003 WS though but my game 1 tape is messed up :thumbdown No Luck :thumbdown
