  1. Judging by my post count, it may seem that I am not around here alot, but I come here and read all the threads everyday. Anyways, it seems EVERY thread on this board people attack other people, and its just pure hatred with one another. Enough is enough, with the insults to each other. It is September 1st, we are in a playoff hunt, lets stop hating on each other, band together, create some positive energy and rally around this team! /rant_rally
  2. Boy, did this topic get off point. I agree that Hanley is a very aggressive hitter, which is precisely why he would seem like the last guy you'd expect to see let 92 mph fastballs over the middle of the plate, just below the waist, with runners in scoring position, go right on by ... with two strikes on him. I just didn't get it. Godforbid hes human...
  3. Thats the Oakland Coliseum where the Athletics (obviously) play. You can tell by the foul territory and the stairs in left field
  4. 1st of all i am new here and would love to hang around for a while. Now lets focus on this thread and ask where is that guy named erik who was defending this clown 2 days ago?.I am not going to go back to the past 5 games but i will take a safe bet and say hermida has left more than 20 runners on base the past 5 games . You looking for me, tough guy? yes apologist now try to spin around how much your boy sux First off...he's not my boy. Second, I never called him "GOD." Third, I'm not even a big Hermida fan. I just put out the stats, and point to the fact, that there's no replacement for him, right now. Cameron Maybin.
  5. In the 8th inning only baserunners have been 3 walks...
  6. And the no hitter is gone.
  7. former players have always been treated well down here. I beg to differ. I remember a few times when Conine made a return back with the Reds and Mets, he hardly got anything. Maybe a few smatterings of applause here and there, but nothing serious. You would think with him being Mr. Marlin, he would get a huge standing ovation, but that was hardly the case. The same can be said for a bunch of other players, too. Juan Pierre, Derrek Lee, etc. hardly get anything when they come back. Thats not true. I remember for certain that at the games I attended when Conine, Derek Lee and Luis Castillo came back, all of them got standing ovations and tipped there cap to the fans. I want to same the same for Lowell also? I dont remember if it was him.
  8. Our bullpen was perfect tonight, no hits runs or walks allowed.
  9. Every article written about the Marlins from an outsider has to have a tidbit about attendance. We've had the attendance problem forever, and weve won two WS and now were in contention. So how could not having people there suddenly hurt us?
  10. Friday night game, after the all star break, against the rival Phillies, who are in 1st place with us 1.5 out, with out Ace on the mound, and everyone Healthy. We better have a great crowd. Everyone get there somehow!!
  11. Tommy was about to run out on the field lol. BS Freddi Shouldnt of been thrown out.
