Stop with the negativity on this board to each other!
Judging by my post count, it may seem that I am not around here alot, but I come here and read all the threads everyday. Anyways, it seems EVERY thread on this board people attack other people, and its just pure hatred with one another. Enough is enough, with the insults to each other. It is September 1st, we are in a playoff hunt, lets stop hating on each other, band together, create some positive energy and rally around this team! /rant_rally

The League's Leading Hitter
Boy, did this topic get off point. I agree that Hanley is a very aggressive hitter, which is precisely why he would seem like the last guy you'd expect to see let 92 mph fastballs over the middle of the plate, just below the waist, with runners in scoring position, go right on by ... with two strikes on him. I just didn't get it. Godforbid hes human...

Man Tasered At Baseball Game
Thats the Oakland Coliseum where the Athletics (obviously) play. You can tell by the foul territory and the stairs in left field

Hermida a.k.a GOD left 9 guys on base tonight
1st of all i am new here and would love to hang around for a while. Now lets focus on this thread and ask where is that guy named erik who was defending this clown 2 days ago?.I am not going to go back to the past 5 games but i will take a safe bet and say hermida has left more than 20 runners on base the past 5 games . You looking for me, tough guy? yes apologist now try to spin around how much your boy sux First off...he's not my boy. Second, I never called him "GOD." Third, I'm not even a big Hermida fan. I just put out the stats, and point to the fact, that there's no replacement for him, right now. Cameron Maybin.

Scott Olsen wishes he was with Florida
former players have always been treated well down here. I beg to differ. I remember a few times when Conine made a return back with the Reds and Mets, he hardly got anything. Maybe a few smatterings of applause here and there, but nothing serious. You would think with him being Mr. Marlin, he would get a huge standing ovation, but that was hardly the case. The same can be said for a bunch of other players, too. Juan Pierre, Derrek Lee, etc. hardly get anything when they come back. Thats not true. I remember for certain that at the games I attended when Conine, Derek Lee and Luis Castillo came back, all of them got standing ovations and tipped there cap to the fans. I want to same the same for Lowell also? I dont remember if it was him.

8/19 Post Game
Our bullpen was perfect tonight, no hits runs or walks allowed.

Every article written about the Marlins from an outsider has to have a tidbit about attendance. We've had the attendance problem forever, and weve won two WS and now were in contention. So how could not having people there suddenly hurt us?

Uggla out with left-ankle sprain
Quoted from the recap from espn "....He was tagged out hobbling in the baseline and limped back to the dugout. The team will evaluate the injury Sunday but doesn't expect Uggla to miss time."

And we get less respect from the Media
I come here every day and read the boards but never really post, but i feel I have to get this out. Something small, but something I dont get at all. How, in a rivalry game, in extra innings, does a walk off homerun not make the top 10 plays on SportsCenter? I know it sounds funny but if I can quote Peter Griffin, that really grinds my gears. I dont know if anyone else noticed it but that made me mad. BTW, went to the game last night, section 150 row 18 and actually was surrounded was enjoyable Mets fans. (Yes I know that sounds like an oxymoron lol)

Castillo claimed by Giants
Yeah its true. I was at the game today he took BP but then came out in street clothes with his bag and talked to reporters while every1 was still in uniform. I asked Freddy Gonzalez if he was gone and he said yea. And then Paul Hoover told me he went to the Giants. Anywho, sucked it got rained out...

The Marlins are Unrecognizeable.
Jowayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, you up at FSU yet making this rant? lol Nice post though, we have the high tv ratings but its the fact its so hot and humid people do not want to sit in it. If we had a retractable roof like Milwaukee or Houston, we may double our attendance because the game is comfortable to watch,
