July 6, 200817 yr At the end of today's game, it was announced that Josh Johnson will pitch for the Marlins on Thursday, and Volstad gets the ball Friday. Is this finally where the starting pitching becomes a strength for the team again? Thoughts?

Well to answer my own question, I think that if Volstad can live up to expectations that people make of him and Johnson can throw like he did in '06, then I think we can seriously make a strong push to contend. We also need Uggla back ASAP

July 7, 200817 yr This could potentially be good, if Tucker comes out of the pen and throws strikes. Lord knows that Hendrickson's arm couldn't possibly be tired throwing 20 mph.
