  1. Classy, Arizona, classy. Morons. Don't blame them all. It's like 100 people out of 50,000 fans. Oh I know, I meant the ones who were throwing crap.
  2. Classy, Arizona, classy. Morons.
  3. P.S - Don't worry, we still hate you and hope you fail in the first round of the playoffs too.
  4. Eat it, Mets!!! Buwahahaha!
  5. The silence is deafening.
  6. Isn't this like Gardner's 29th game in a row or something ridiculous?
  7. He just pitched his 3rd straight shutout. He's now at 42 consecutive innings. He only got to 3 balls in ONE COUNT!!! :| Filthy.
  8. What is up with the former Marlin obsession?! Oh I don't know, maybe it's because Louie and Niner are the two most thought-about players when you think of the Marlins franchise (apart from any player today) and most fans, if not all, have a great deal of respect for both of what they've done in a Marlins uniform ... and most fans would be sick to their stomachs to see both of them lining up in a Mets uniform? It's not their fault, it's just a horrible occurrence if this trade goes through after Louie going.
  9. The Mets are considering trading for Jeff Conine, who became even more expendable in Cincinnati with Jorge Cantu's arrival. Conine would act as a pinch-hitter and start over Carlos Delgado against particularly tough lefties. He's probably cost little more than Luis Castillo did. Source: SI.com (courtesy of Rotoworld) :lol Imagine Conine and Louie on the Mets at the same time. Kill me. :|
  10. Jake has such a beautiful swing.
  11. Don't know if anyone saw it but last night Chone Figgins had a 6-hit night including a game-winning, walk-off RBI triple in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Angels beat the Astros 10-9 in one of the best back-and-forth games of the year. In the past week he's batting .412 with an OPS of 1.003 and two stolen bases. He started off slow but is absolutely hammering the ball now. He's a fun player to watch.
  12. JJ's fastball looks dead and lifeless.
  13. This is not going to be a good night, me thinks...
  14. "The good guys coming to bat" Ugh, these are the worst announcers I've heard.
  15. When did Barone get turned into a SP, hasn't he always been in the pen? Or am I thinking of someone else?
  16. Don't look now, but Olivo is on fire. Ride the streak baby.
  17. I'm watching on mlb.tv and the Royals announcers are pronouncing Alfredo's name as "Amarrrrzega" ... so annoying.
  18. I am growing more and more comfortable with Amezaga in CF each day. Defensively speaking anyway.
  19. YES!!! He did it!
  20. Mando has been filthy since coming back ... great pickup.
  21. Wow, what a play Neifi.
