  1. Reggie makes the most simple catch look like a webgem... That's not a compliment btw.
  2. I believe WMM is on a mission to get to Marlins headquarters, trying to protest that we sign Bernie Williams, Javy Lopez and Pablo Ozuna. :|
  3. Jose Valentin = Nolasco Killer
  4. I just updated my sig with a quote from 'Trelle on Miggy posted in an AP article. "He's half-man, half-amazing." Awesome quote.
  5. Wes Obermueller-R- Marlins The Marlins will call up Wes Obermueller to replace the injured Sergio Mitre as Sunday's starter against the Nationals. Even against the Nationals, we can't recommend picking up Obermueller in NL-only leagues. It'd be for the best if he's not needed to make more than one or two starts. Scott Tyler-R- Marlins Marlins optioned RHP Scott Tyler to Double-A Carolina. Tyler didn't make an appearance in two days with the Marlins. Source: Rotoworld. Why on EARTH wasn't Tyler used tonight then? Why did Mess have to go 2 innings when he'd already pitched yesterday? I thought they may be saving Tyler for tomorrow for a few innings. It's not as if the game was on the line in the 8th or 9th innings tonight.
  6. Yahoo box scores says Obermueller as well. I don't think Gregg would be able to go that long considering he pitched 2 innings yesterday. I guess we'll find out soon.
  7. Wes Obermueller.
  8. Sorry for the delay. I'm going to take my Aussie homeboy, Paul Mildren.
  9. It won't happen ... but it's not the worst idea ever. Plus, there's always Rule #409385893895 in the Baseball Handbook that we could use to our advantage: Any team not named the Kansas City Royals that has Reggie Sanders on its roster is more than likely headed to the postseason. :mischief
  10. Ramp, can u give me a status on Hermida? He threw a perfect inning tonight Hermida threw a perfect inning? :mischief
  11. I'm in.
  12. I wish I didn't live in Australia. (well, for this reason anyway)
  13. You also thought we should get Pablo Ozuna and Bernie Williams for CF, so... :|
  14. this thread and its creator is a circus Who cares what you think....what a waste of a post. Same could be said about all of yours.
  15. WMM, no offence, but you are a horrible evaluator of talent. If I had my own franchise and had to choose a GM and it came down to you and a retarded monkey, I think I'd choose the retarded monkey.
  16. Some of you place far too much stock on spring training stats. I find them to be rather useless. Having said that, I still want Borchard/Amezaga/Ross out there. Where's Eric Reed? He's hit over .300 everywhere except the major leagues! Fixed. What a pointless thread when we have 30959348956 others on it.
  17. Travis Bowyer-R- Marlins Marlins released RHP Travis Bowyer. Bowyer missed all of 2006 after shoulder surgery, and the Marlins were left with little idea when he might be ready to pitch this season. It's likely that he'll be re-signed to a minor league deal if he clears release waivers. Source: Rotoworld. What a brilliant trade that was. :confused
  18. You're f***ing kidding me.
  19. Marlins hitters speak as if they are mortals, and Cabrera is something more. ''He is just something that God came down to touch,'' Jacobs said. What an awesome quote.
