Dolphin Stadium will have the feel of 1997 all over again on Thursday night. To commemorate the '97 World Series championship season, the Marlins will be wearing replica uniforms. For one game, Florida will feature the teal-striped jerseys previously worn in Game 7 of the '97 Series. While the stakes will be much lower on Thursday, the outcome will decide the winner of this Interleague series. After the Marlins claimed a 3-0 decision on Tuesday, Cleveland rebounded with a 7-3 victory on Wednesday. Throughout the season, the Marlins have celebrated the franchise's first World Series title. In the memorable '97 Series, Florida clipped Cleveland in seven games. Several players from the championship team will be on hand for Thursday night's game. The Marlins will send Dontrelle Willis to the mound. The D-Train is 0-2 with a 4.15 ERA in two June starts. The lefty is 2-3 with a 5.93 ERA in seven home starts this year. Cleveland will counter with lefty Jason Stanford, who will pitch for the first time this season. Stanford will be activated from Triple-A Buffalo before the game.
