Jake should be 3rd and Cabs 4th

Jacobs should be batting 3rd in this line up! With or without Hanley in the lineup. When we made our push last year Jake was in the 3 hole and Cabs was 4th. Then all of a sudden we changed them around. Although Jake has a small sample size he did well with Cabrera behind him. Cabrera is best in the 4th spot as his career stats show. He is higher in almost every category and has a large sample in each spot to back it up. Jake a very aggressive hitter will see a lot more fast balls with Cabrera behind him and that benefits him and the team. Hit Jake 3rd and see if we don?t go on a run.

I hope your not saying he is being a sissy. He has shown to play when not 100%. It must be bothering him when he grips the bat. A day off or two wont kill anyone.

Cabrera is not in the line up.

I continue to think (and I know few agree) that this may be a time to rebuild the lineup with Hanley hitting cleanup. I agree shaking things up a little can't hurt.

Gee, I never would expect the youngest team in the league to have these sort of problems. ? 1) Most of them aren't rookies 2) There is something called the minors, where players are supposed to be instructed and work on the fudamentals So every player that has been in the minors for a while is expected to not make "fudamental" errors? Oh OK. Is not about not making errors. Is the frequency that is happening. We only had 4 fielding errors going in to yesturdays game! I'll give you we have had too many mental errors on the bases.

I like Jake batting 3rd and Cabrera 4th. Last year when Jake hit 3rd he crushed the ball. Jake with protection was much more productive.

I cant even stomach watching a game in these threads anymore. This is the most negative crowd ever in my 4 years here i agree...i think the expectations of this team makes people expect perfection, when baseball...is a game of anything but I don't expect perfection but this team is ungodly bad on the basepaths thus far. i dont disagree with you there...but many people, including myself from time to time, nitpick unmercilessly when they have probably never picked up a ball and bat and played the game absolutly

It looks like our defense is meh, except for Jacobs who's particularly bad, and our offense was good until Hanley did something so horrible as to to incur the wrath of G-D. 99% negative talk overall. No reason for Jake to be out of the lineup I know Boone needs some abs but not when we are playing the Braves. He (Jake) has hit more HR against them then any othe team. Don't like it.
