Many people think stolen bases are overrated...But most people don't think about what's going through the pitcher's mind when Pierre's on 1st or 2nd base. Pierre being on base means more fastballs from the pitcher,the batter can expect this,which results in more hard hit balls.

It's about time for him to step up. I had to put him in my signature a few weeks ago. But I seriously doubt that Almanza will get better, he's always been bad. True, but Almanza threw(Sp?)a pretty solid inning yesterday against the Astros... 1.0 IP 1 SO....no hits.... But...even bad pitchers have thier innings.

Tejera seems to have found the secret to becoming a good bullpen pitcher. Could Almanza be next.... :mischief2 ?????

We won't get Stairs,we are set with our lineup. He makes 900,000$ this year. Banks makes 300,000$ this year (Money is involed you know. ). The only thing I can see is him replacing TH because he is cheaper and better (Never even said I wanted Stairs,Juanky.) And no Shamrock, Cabrera needs to play everyday to develope. Your sig is pretty funny though. About idiots. Wow. ok. So you think Cabs sitting against tough righties will totally stunt his development? Give me a break, we need a guy like Stairs who can come in and give us some production against tough righties. Juan E is doing awful against righties overall with a miniscule .690 OPS. Its a move they are trying to make, which shows just how much you know. It's just Cabrera needs to develope quickly and he needs to face tough right handed pitchers for experience. Personally,I think we're set,Cabrera has to improve and we have been winning even when Cabs was struggling. It's just my opinion Shamrock and you can have yours. They arnt exactly power hitters, but have decent pop. Stairs has legit above average power and would be the first option to PH or platoon with Cabs. Overall a significant improvement. Stairs couldn't platoon with Cabrera becaue he is a 20 yr. old rookie. Cabrera needs to play everyday.
