Marlins @ Rays, 6/4 7:10 P.M.
What a retarded announcer- you just said leftys are batting 150 something against Steve-C, yet you say you don't understand why they walk Longo for Loney.

Ah- it's Leo Nunez---- I thought I recognized him, and once he gave up that 9th inning hit, I knew it was him.

This guy Oviendo looks familiar..... Almost like Leo Nunez, except Nunez couldn't throw strikes.

There's a Name for What Henderson Alvarez has Been Doing.
Did you make it up? What are it's Origins? Who came up with that? I'm gonna Dietrich it all up in here, I'm going on the offensive and just straight up ignoring the defense.

Jim Johnson was nearly a Marlin
Can't say I wouldn't have liked this move- the AL to NL shift might have been a great move for him. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/a-s-nearly-traded-former-closer-jim-johnson-to-marlins-for-39th-pick-in-14-draft-060414

I have never heard of that term, and it's a stupid term. It's something i expect to see on urban dictionary.

Can we take a moment to look at how badly we fleeced the Blue Jays?
Lawrie probably isn't any better than Dietrich at this point. The ability to provide power from 2B (8 or 9 HR) or from 3B (McGehee rest) and do so with limited errors is pretty much exactly what we want from Deets and don't have. Lawrie plays above average defense, I can appreciate that.

Lawrie was untouchable at that point but he would've been so nice to have Might be able to get him now, with his sub .250 batting average- I'd take that if we an still plug him at 2B and ship Furcal, Tejada, Baker and a few Juan Pierre Bobbleheads to Toronto for him. Dump that trash.... I mean salary!

Anything disco and nico can provide will be more than what the second pitcher in the trade will do for the jays- Analyzing it a bit, JJ for N/D was. Decent trade

I wished they fought for Arencibia or Lawrie myself . D'Arnaud and Snydergard would hVe been nice- but I'm sure it could have changed the dynamic of the trade a lot.

Kevin Gregg returns
Koch sounds like a perfect for to upset ownership- Following the 2004 season he was signed to a 1-year contract by his original team, theToronto Blue Jays, but the team released him during spring training and an angry Koch announced he would not attempt to sign with another team, so that the Blue Jays would be on the hook for 'every penny' of his $950,000 salary. He has not played baseball professionally since then.[3] During Toronto's 2nd game of the season at Tampa Bay, Koch showed up at the game wearing an Aubrey Huff jersey, at the time a Devil Rays slugger. He joked with the Toronto bullpen crew, heckling the Blue Jays and calling one of the pitchers a "bum". He then announced that he planned to take 240 students from his children's Tampa area grade school to the game and have them hold up a sign saying 'Go Devil Rays'.[4]

The Ghost of Beinfest Struck again.
First of all, Samardzija is not an ace. Secondly, the Cubs would demand far much more than a draft pick for him. "The Cubs Ace" is exactly what I said, regardless of your opinion, that is a fact. He is indeed "the Cubs ace". I also said "Does this mean we could have gotten the Cubs ace for a draft pick? No , but it does go to show the value of those picks and how we botched our return." Maybe you should have read a little deeper instead of reading what you wanted to.
