  1. Then your not a degenerate!
  2. Real Roll Call: Who's going to the 12:40 start on 5/22? Tickets are 5 bucks with a subway voucher, just walk into a subway and take it.THey dont care. I'll be there. Lets see who the real degenerates are.
  3. It's appalling that Ordonez got as many opportunities as he did. The glove was good, but he was still only a replacement player at best for most of his career. I was surprised he only played in 44 games in the World series year, I meant to see why....... but I just didn't care.
  4. Remember, another SS wasn't so good with a bat but managed to play for some decent teams---- http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/NYM/1999.shtml Edit: Damn- Hech's WAR sucks compared to even Ordonez in 1999.
  5. We also had no business adding Lee given our record at the time. Come this July, if we're somehow still hovering around .500, I wouldn't be surprised if we added at least another arm I see a few BP arms, but I see Andy H coming up right after the ASB I think to take wolfs spot and wolf staying in the pen.
  6. I liked Keith Olbermans take - he Solanged Guerrero..... Atleast Tyson bit into an opponent.
  7. I look the move for being proactive getting positional depth in the farm- I hate the fact it was Tejada. Couldn't they pry Lowell, Dawson and Conine out of retirement and let them play daily in Jupiter incase there was a need. Or heck, maybe Alex Gonzalez and Edgar Renteria at New Orleans. Or.... Or.... Mike Piazza at Jax so I Can finally buy a current marlins piazza jersey.
  8. Everytime I've gone- I've seen Loria in his seats. He doesn't stay the whole game- but he does go.
  9. I don't think Loria will open his wallet that much. Why do you think that? Asking for your opinion- I think he's anxious to prove he knew what he was doing when he ordered payroll be cut / team rebuilt. As if to say, look at out former players in Toronto, they couldn't win. Look at what we got back- it WAS a brilliant baseball move
  10. I think come July if the team is still playing like this Loria will force Jennings to make a move to push us into contention. He won't dictate who or what to get- but he'll give him permission to put some chips on the table and try to sneak a playoff spot. Mostly for his own ego. Imagine one year removed from a fire sale and the teams competing for a playoff berth while Toronto is struggling. It will be the ultimate I told you so to all of those who cursed the trade. He'll open up the wallet, the question is what will we have to part with. A few middle relievers and a Nick Johnson type might do well on this team.
  11. That's really funny, because somebody actually said he should learn how to throw lefty… I did lol.
  12. I believe it's mlb at bats free game of the night
  13. Still think a young prep arm is the best route to take. With a missing link in our Rotation, taking the pitcher formerly incorrectly named Rondon may fill a void and give us a great 1 /2 when Jose is back.
  14. OK, I don't usually do this, but, it's RODON, not RO(N)DON. Sorry. Gosh. The Extra N is for Negativity.... (Okay, okay )
  15. Dan Jennings was sent back down also. Any news on who is coming up in his place? According to Redmond it's another pitcher along with DeSclafani. Just saw that, probably Caminero.
  16. Dan Jennings isn't fucking around. Daddy Likes.
  17. With Jose's injury, I see the Marlins taking Rondon if available- maybe as a replacement if possible after some rest. Wouldn't be surprised to see limited MILB time and then MLB debut. Or maybe he'll pull a Todd Van Poppel
  18. As much as I didn't want this to happen I gotta say I saw it coming. I have a post some where calling it. Straight gas or a wipe out slider every pitch had to take a toll. Then all of this is your fucking fault- GET HIM!
  19. I want to see him in July. I don't care if it's at the futures game, or in a marlins uniform shortly after . I want him here in July.
  20. Can Jose throw left handed and be a Jaime Moyer type for the next year?
  21. He got a loss and threw 22 pitches yesterday so I'm not sure. He is their closer though. He's warming up now.
  22. Told ya this game ain't over. It ain't over til it's over. ATTACK!
  23. All things considered, this game isn't as out of hand as it should be. Only a three run game with two innings to go. Kohler had a high pitch count, rodriguez could throw for shit. Yet, I feel were still in it a bit.
  24. Jesus Christ- Rodriguez is friggin horrible.
