Jose placed on DL with right elbow sprain

Featured Replies

Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez is expected to be placed on the disabled list for a yet-to-be announced injury, FOX Sports reports. The pitcher is undergoing an MRI in Los Angeles Monday, the Miami Herald reports.

There's a good chance that this is nothing, but I'm not very happy that he was pitching when there was something clearly wrong with him. Apparently he was puking in the dugout in the top of the first and almost puked when he was on the found. That was apparently food poisoning, but he shouldn't have been pitching. Why not wait a couple of starts, since that doesn't take too long to clear up?

And what was Redmond doing by letting Fernandez go out on the mound in that condition?

I f***ing knew it. Please don't be his arm. Please.

Anything else we should know?

Maybe the leg hit he took vs. L.a.?

I didn't get to watch the last game he pitched but was he all over the place with bad velocity?

An mri can't be good and isn't for the food poisoning he had.
