You know, I hate losing. The Cubs? Great example, right there. Every year, as seasons come and go, birthdays, holidays, the cold winter months, their fans always look forward to dread. The 2014 Marlins? They don't fit that principle of losing. Unlike the cubs, the 2014 marlins don't have a culture of losing. So get up out your chair, breathe in pride in this team and yell....

I have a feeling Hech is going to have a very good night

Maybe because he's in the 9 spot, Redmond will get confused and pinch hit for him.

"Oh shit, pitcher's spot coming up ... uh ... uh ... Yelich! Go out there!" "OK skip."

*inning ends*

Yelich: "Where do I go?"

Red: "What do you mean?"

Y: "I hit for Hech ..."

Red: "... FUCK!"

Casey McGehee has the highest fielding percentage of third basemen in baseball, and he's the guy you chose to make the DH? Fucking brilliant! How about that big awkward guy we have at first base who kind sucks there?

That big awkward guy we have at first base isn't playing tonight. So there's that.

Doesn't really matter. McGehee is better defensively at third than Ed Lucas. It still makes no sense.

At the same time, McGehee could use a day off, and this way, he can get one without having to leave the lineup. Ed's not terrible at third, it's not really a big deal.

I hate these guys. They bitch about every single pitch they think is a strike. They're usually wrong

What I hate is how boring they make a home run sound, especially in a big moment. Did you hear Staats' call for Longoria's home run that clinched the wild card on game 162 in 2011?
