Hermida is too valuable to this franchise....definitely our RF of the future...i mean, c'mon....he was rated as one of the best contact hitting prospects in baseball...there is no way the Marlins would trade him....he is just in a major slump...give him a break...plus he doesnt make any errors in RF....has an good arm and can make a nice catch or too

It was announced today by Fredi Gonzalez that Chris Volstad would join the rotation and Ryan Tucker along with Mark Hendrickson would be moved to the bullpen. That leaves one more spot for the rotation which will be filled up by Josh Johnson this thursday. Could Tucker be our closer of the future? well all signs show that Hendrickson may be on his way to the bullpen since they took him out after 81 pitches and guess what...Volstad is now pitching...pretty decent first career inning...not 1-2-3 but no walks or runs allowed...lets see how he does...im glad they are considering in keeping tucker in the rotation but with JJ coming back, he may get the boot
