the main reason Wagner made it to the bigs with only 9 YES THATS 9 minor league innings was the fact that he was a late inning reliever for a college team and the Reds have no pitching and Scott Sullivan got hurt recently. Its insane to bring up a kid youve had in the organization for 5 weeks.

going by pure "Stuff" Beckett was not rushed but i will always think that he could have used more innings in the minors, there is a huge difference between 120ip and 200ip. he is still only 23 and a strong 2nd half could be a great future
