  1. and if they would start badenhops big league time, whats wrong about volstad's? exactly Badenhop's chances of winding up in our rotation long-term (& thus being a $ issue) are not anywhere near Volstad's. so that would mean they would rather save money than try to win more

  3. Volstad's not coming up. Financial reasons. Volstad's not coming up. Because Volstad's not ready. No need to rush him. The FO has shown in the past that if someone is deemed ready, up they come. Financial reasons be damned. In Chris's case I think patience is a virtue. I think Andrew should go down and get things together. Put Doug in the rotation for now and bring someone up to fill the long relief spot. Leave Volstad where he is to get his starts in and fine tune. what is the pont of qwasting him in aa when you have this piece of sh*t on the mound every 5 days
  4. if they dont send him down im gonna be so pissed. tonight 7 innings 1 er 0 bb's. this franchise is a joke if they dont bring him up and send him down. ive had enough of this sh*t. the kids terrible.
  5. this is werd. i was literlally looking ast yahoo and sometimes i go back to other seasons and look at the games an look at who pitched and stuff like that and i saw his name and i said. haha i remember him. this is wier
  6. The problem is that we keep calling up guys who aren't ready. First it was Vandy who had the problems, and it was "We need to call up Badenhop!". Now it's Hopper, and we need to call up Volstad. Then it's going to be "Call up Gaby!", then Thompson, then Tucker, then Sinkbiel, then De La Cruz. And then someone is going to say "Hey, De La Cruz needs a trip to AA, how is VandenHurk doing?" and the cycle continues. vandy isnt a top notch prospect and volstad is better than all those guys and is well polished He's not as "top notch" as Miller is and he's struggling up here. Volstad's only started 12 games above High-A ball. I'd like to give him a bit more before calling him up. he is a top notch prospect and he is dominating in double a unlik miller who barely played aa. I know that Volstad is a great prospect, but Miller was ranked higher than him, and while he didn't play much AA, he has been in the Majors since last May. because detroit had injuries an he hasnt been sent down because he is supposed to be so good.

  11. Hopefully after the all star break at the earliest. what. i say call him up now. he has shown that he can dominate double a. he isnt out of control and its not like he is just skating past innings and leaving men on base like a miller does. i say send badenhop down after thursday and bring him up after thursday. his ground ball to fly ball ratio is 3 to 1.
  12. theres no tri rail near the stadium
  13. He is pitching lights out and how long can we stick with Badenhop? Rotoworld said that if he isnt up by the end of may they will be shocked. When will he come up?
  14. i think the double switch could be a good thing or bad thing. it is only a bad thing if it is early in the game. he just doesnt want to waste his bench once every time aroun the lineup
  15. i think if its for traenor or wood an he becomes the backup but i like rabelo
