I'm seeing the same thing. I think hes a solid, nearly consistent player all year. But the injury really messed him up. It normally takes 2 to 3 weeks after they come back to the team for them to get their swing back. Hes looked a little better, but still only hits Fastballs. He might explode in the Mets series. Benji doesnt have a ridiculous contract, also he has nearly the same stats as Pudge. And he still has a good arm and is a field general. Which is what we need.

Give me Dallas at 1st. Benji at C. Give them Jacobs and one of our Minor League pitchers. Tank, De La Cruz, heck, give them Vandenhurk.

Hendrickson gave us 2 inning, and almost 3. Fredi messed that one up. But Willingham looks good one game, then doesnt produce the next game. Hes a supposedly "solid hitter" but hes injury prone and thats the worst thing you can possibly have in baseball. Because when players get injured its 15 days off, then 1 month of them trying to find their swing again. Hes also one of the worst fielder's, if not the worst fielder on our team. Give me Ross in RF and Maybin in CF.
