Das Texan should be shot
i take back what i said on the hurricane isabella thread, this is the funniest f**king thread i have ever seen. oh and if you were like tupac u would come out with a movie too there is no way that guy is dead. making too much money lol. i bet he's living the life on an island somewhere don't worry Das, think of it this way: someone made a thread all about you. not only that but it reached 2 pages hahaha

Hurricane Isabel
this has to be one of the funniest f**king threads i have ever read considering itz such a serious topic. it should seriously go in the humor section. bluesclues you are out of your league here but thats ok cuz u make me laugh. and if u live in hialeah u better pray that it doesnt hit u directly cuz u will have no where to live. i went to middle school in hialeah and my grandmother lives there, those houses aren't made of cardboard like some people like to think but they sure as hell won't stand up to 150mph winds. i was here when hurricane andrew hit and even though storms like that fascinate me in some strange way i thank God that it didn't hit my area worse. the damage that thing caused was horrendous and i am not looking foward to another one like that. i may not be as lucky again. not to mention this one is even bigger *shudders* I had 1 or 2 days off in highschool because of close calls with hurricanes but like someone else said its not like u can go out to the movies or something. if a hurricane comes close u better believe there is going to be nasty flooding, especially with the wonderful drainage system we have in miami. it doesnt work like a snowday. aaww now u made me want to see snow (itz too damn hot here sometimes!!) btw, juanky, nice job quoting Pulpfiction. one of my fav movies. "he'd be damned if he let the gooks get their yellow hands on it"

Great game tonight.
I was stuck at work all night with no clue what was going on, stopped at Taco Bell on the way home, heard ESPN Radio Sportscenter, got the scored and pumped my fist, yelled "Yeah!" The looks I got were priceless. It's great to be a Fish fan right now. i have done that so many time in public areas... i was out friday night (i wanted to stay home to watch the game but my friends made me lol) and i was checking the scores all night. braves were beating us so i assumed the worst and checked in one more time while i was at a billiards club... i screamed and everyone turned around. lol i couldnt help it, i was so happy we beat them. i love the faces i get though. especially from my friends who rnt as into sports or the marlins. It's always great to be a Fish Fan but now we have bragging rights. :shifty

Cabs wont start if we make the playoffs
maybe as an emergancy he can play SS. but for the most part he's to tall. ...he originally wanted to be a SS but than just kept growing. Too tall? Never heard that one before? Isn't Alex Rodriguez like 6'4"? Why is it bad to be tall and play SS? If you're agile enough, what should it matter? :mischief2 there r exceptions to that rule but for the most part little guys can move around faster and u have to be quick as hell to play short stop.

Interesting Fact...
oooo interesting coincidence, cool. i say we drink to that :cheers on top of the already great night

Cabs wont start if we make the playoffs
ever since Conine came to play for us i had been wondering...what will happen when lowell comes back? speaking as a fan, and just a fan, i love all three of them. cabs may have gone thru a slump, but everyone is entitled to one of those now and then, it happens to the best of them. after tonight he proved that he can come thru when we need him, he was freaking awesome. I remember when mike went thu a bit of a slump earlier in the season but he proves himself time and time again. Conine has done alright since he's been with us and he is getting better and better. it really pains me to say this but... i would rather see cabs and mike start. really i would love to see all 3 of them play but it just cant happen. i am not saying that cabs and mike will deffinately start because i really dont know, i'm just saying what i would like to see.

Great game tonight.
this has to be one of the greatest games i have ever been to. it was packed (40,414 people) and the crowd was so fired up... the wave went around like 10 times, upper and lower deck. i have never seen so many people dance to Everybody's Doin the Fish be4. I was screaming so hard when Miguel made that home run that i thought i was going to burst a blood vessel (i now have no voice), my whole section was going crazy hugging each other and such. and one of the best parts of the game was when the jumbotron showed a view of the National League scoreboard to reveal... that the phillies were losing 5-0. everyone went nuts. leaving the stadium everyone was screaming Let's Go Marlins and honking their horns. if there were a lot of braves fans in PPS tonite they were pretty quiet hahaha. it almost felt like a playoff game. * on a side note, when i was in my car i tuned in to listen to the UM game. when they scored, the already wild parking lot erupted in honks and yells. it was a very good night indeed

Marlins vs Braves---6:05---at the PRO
ESPN and MLB.com better be wrong! Tonight's game might get rained out! That would be Jeff Loria's ultimate disaster. http://www.weather.com/weather/map/USFL056...60?from=LAPmaps i dunno. i dont live too far from PPS and things seem to be clearing up over here. rained earlier but just a shower and the sky in that direction is getting blue *crosses fingers*. i'll be there rain or shine but we wouldnt want a rain out :unsure :

Greatest TV Show of All-Time Round Eight

2003 Playoff Schedule
When we make the playoffs, I'm going to every game. I've saved enough money over the past two months to attend every game through game 7 of the world series. damn i'm starting to wish i had saved my extra scholarship money from last year instead of blowing it on this computer lol. hhmm i wonder if they already have people singing the national anthem for the playoffs...
-
Who's that on the front of ESPN.com?
hehe awesomeness. they called us a Cinderella team though. underdogs yes, but we've been working on this team for a few years now. i know we were cinderella in 97 but should we still be called one now?

Good times
yeah, its awesome. I miss doing things like that with the boys...but it is good to see the Marlins clubhouse serious AND having fun all at once. Hats off to McKeon too for giving the players just enough freedom to have fun and not over-focus. Good sign... yup, one of the reasons miggy broke out of his slump is because mckeon told him to relax and have fun.

Queston about Saturdays game...
