How did Vazquez look (or sound.) How was his velocity? I know it's too early to judge his velocity, but I'm still interested in knowing.

Stanton exits in second inning Marlins slugger Mike Stanton was removed from Sunday's exhibition in the second inning with what appears to be a right ankle ailment. Stanton stumbled and fell to the ground after chopping a ground-ball back to University of Miami pitcher Michael Rudman. Immediately, assistant trainer Mike Kozak tended to the 21-year-old, who walked off the field. Stanton was replaced by Scott Cousins in right field. In the first inning, Stanton belted a two-run homer on the first pitch he saw from Rudman. The exact nature of Stanton's ailment has not yet been disclosed. As long as the colors aren't like those retro Houston Astros jerseys, I'm fine. If they are, then I'll probably never buy a single piece of Marlins merchandise again. This has got to quite honestly be the worst uniform I've ever seen, and that little stadium logo really scares me into thinking it'll be somewhat like this.

As fair as it can get for a team that isn't very followed.

Giving it to the Nationals before the Marlins would be unfair. We've been waiting for the game since 1993, and already had one taken away, seen Colorado already get one, and Arizona is getting theirs this year. Make Washington wait even until after one goes to Tampa (they have to get a new stadium within the next 4 or 5 years). So.. what you're saying is.. the Nationals are insignificant therefore the league should make us happy first? Sorry, the league screwed things up with the ASG. We play in a football stadium, it's completely fair to pass on us. No, if we have to wait 3 or 4 years after opening a new stadium, so does Tampa. The Marlins and Washington, in whatever order, both deserve an ASG. Regardless of where we played, this franchise hasn't seen an All-Star Game in its history and our fans have never had an ASG in our city. People living in Washington have been waiting for much less. We're definitely going to get it before they do.

I hope this determination is for real, because Hanley's a special kind of ballplayer. I think that if he sets out to take us to the playoffs, this team will have just enough to make it there.

This game wasn't advertised at all in the school. Not even through email. I mean, sh*t. If you're going to try and gain some popularity, there needs to be a better dissemination of information. I missed this game and I actually wanted to see it. ...and now he lost the hit streak. Awesome.

Who are you blaming here exactly? Because, you know, you're definitely blaming someone for something.

I was under the impression that the stadium would've be fully completed until a few months into 2012, and that we were planning on playing with a few bits of the walkways and stuff under construction. If that's true, then I doubt anything will be played until fairly close to the regular-season.

I've never understood why a cream would ever be banned? Did it give him magic powers? Honestly, what is it about creams? Is it because they share detected ingredients with banned substances?

And why do you say only? Because we're going to be the Miami Marlins next year and there aren't really any other candidates to go in as Florida Marlins playing right now. For that reason, I think he's going to go in as a Marlin (if he goes in.)
