we are the miami marlins. case closed. i can see how maybe we shouldve been fla marlins to begin with, because we were fla's only team, but now were not. sure we were on the county line and not really in miami, but several times in sports something like this has happened. remember, the detroit pistons play in auburn hills, the new york jets and giants both play in nj, and the cavs used to play in richfield, oh. the cal angels became the ana angels a few yrs ago, so the fish should do the same and welcome the 2003 world champs to the field in miccosukee stadium as the miami marlins

thumbs up to mlb/lee sport/new era: i am referring to the official ws champ shirts and hats. they, as usual, cost 20 and up, but this yr its actually quality stuff. the shirt looks awesome, and the hat is awesome. one of the best yrs ever for ws stuff thumbs down to fox/wsvn: i didnt notice last night (obviously i was too preocupied) but watching my tape of the game i noticed fox and wsvn 7 were terrible. fox only offered like 10 mins of reaction after the gm, then put together some half assed montage that wsvn interrupted anyways. of course, after the game, belkys nerey showed us how bad the bandwagon can get questions: is there a celebration at pps tuesday? will ws video feature commeromative ticket like 1997 ws video did?

this whole thing about hank goldblob at wqam brings up a very interesting question: should the guys on qam even be able to rip the marlins? i understand that sometimes you have to criticize the team if they aren't up to par, but goldblob is ripping them while they're in the WORLD SERIES. one thing is the guys at 610 ripping us, and while i never like hearing people talk bad about the fish, they're able to do it because they have no contract as marlins flagship, but qam sure does! all these guys do is time and time again rip on the fish and give the casual fans a bad impression of the guys, but then rip the fans when they dont show up. everything about talk radio and most of sports (hell, most of the things in life) is a hypocracy. next winter, i sure hope 610 saves us fans from qam
