I've never seen this big of a drop off of a former great pitcher.

Cishek is a trillion times better than Bell, stop f***ing using Bell he has 1 pitch that works.

Heath Bell will retire after this year.

Bell is the worst player ever I'm convinced, what a big fat waste of money.

Too bad Oviedo can't come back until August.

Kearns to the DL, Mattison called up
Mattison over Cousins? This is really not a major loss. It is when it comes to facing lefty pitchers. Other than that, meh. It's not even that. Hot streak aside, Austin Kearns is just not good at all. The point is, he is playing good.

It would be nice to have a top 5 catcher but I just want one that can call a game and play d. Maybe some pop. Oh wait that's Buck when he's not slumping. One fluke year in Toronto and this team overpays for that bum. I dont think this "slump" of his is very surprising to anyone but you.... It's definitely not a slump, Buck just sucks.

John Buck
Buck was extremely overrated when we picked him up because of the year he had in Toronto. We gambled and lost, oh well it happens.

Disappointing night for Sanchez, better luck next time.

5-23 - Colorado vs Miami - 7:10
all those f***ing walks led to this sh*t Both runners on base had singles. Walked the first 2 in the 4th - and walked the 8 hole hitter to start the 5th - what f***ing game are you watching? What you said made no sense. Both runners that were on base when Tulowitzki homered got on base via a single. I was just curious if you were drunk.

Well that was a bad idea leaving him in.

5/22 Post Game
The Good Two wins in comeback fashion is great to see! Hanley now hitting .250 is also fantastic! The team winning without Infante and Bonifacio is impressive! An unbelievable May and the best record in the month is nice! Nolasco getting out of his "annual" slump is groovy! The Bad Heath Bell still doesn't look impressive, nor do I trust him with a lead. He did recover quickly I will give him that. Kearns may have pulled a hammy. EDIT: The NL East is really good.

5/20 Post Game
Sorry, the Rays couldn't help you guys out in the standings today. Braves' Hudson was good (perfect game through 3 IP) and we just had horrible luck offensively, punctuated by the out that ended the Bot 8th. Go Marlins!

JJ is climbing back. Scary to think how good this team could be with the games best pitcher throwing likes he's supposed to. Well, he's not the games' best pitcher, but yeah. It was bound to happen sooner or later because part of his failures early on had to do with incredibly bad luck. When he's at full strength he is the games best pitcher. He can be and he's shown it ERA wise in past years.

5/16 Post Game
So hypothetically if the playoffs started today the Mets would play the Marlins as the wild card tiebreaker and the winner of that would play the Braves in the one game wild card playoff. lol

Kearns was the FOTG, besides his gaff in left field, he had the two early RBI's and a double which helped make Stanton's HR a little more important. Infante is on fire. Stanton is Giancarlo.

Tied for 3rd place, we just continue to climb the standings.

5/16- Marlins @ Braves- 7:10 pm
You realize that Gaby was an all-star last year because we had no one better at the time to send to the ASG as our rep. It should have been Stanton really. An outfielder batting .256 and almost 100 strikeouts does not deserve to go to the ASG, especially considering how competitive it is. Gaby was hitting .293 and had 100 hits at the break. So, I will have to disagree. lol @ batting average It's an important stat.

About to be in 3rd place.
