Encarnacion struggles
Well, he was aquitted in his DUI case last Friday. But I have no idea how his knee surgery recovery is doing. Originally, the timetable for his recovery would have had him back around early August. Obviously that is not the case though.

A Look At Hurricane Charley
I'm pretty sure Roof needs to be completely replaced will take care of Roof needs to have leaks fixed And the impact resistant (not proof) windows are nice, but they are currently rated lower than some of the newer shutters on the market. A lot of the shutters today are being made to withstand objects being tossed at 150 mph, rather than the 120 mph standard of older shutters and impact resistant films. (I only mention the resistant part since it is not total protection. If I'm not going with sturdy shutters, I'd have to have something like the bullet proof plexiglass they use for high security areas....that would be sweet.)

A Look At Hurricane Charley
Looks as though you did really well, pretty minimal damage. That's the kind of damage level you might expect from about 20 or 30 miles from the eye, given that the storm was a Cat 4.

and you became a mod how? learn to comprehend 514372[/snapback] My comprehension skills are not the problem. 'I disgust you' and 'he disgusts me' are opposites when dleivered by the same person. '...biased towards members on the site' and 'his love and hate for certain members on the site' have different connotations as well. As you pointed out: reading comprehension is key. And so is: comprehensive writing

"Mark this forum as read"
Any particular reason why the button works differently in some forums? If I hit the button in the Marlins Forum, it send me to the Playing Field. However, if I hit it in the Major League Baseball Forum, it sends me to the main board. I forget exactly which, but have noticed it in the Bleachers as well.

Well, Miami-Dade school starts manana
Ahhh, I remember those naive school days. Get over it, school is the easy part. The real world is what can be tough.

Gender of non-living things
You may not know that many non-living things have a gender; for example... 1) Ziploc Bags -- They are Male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them. 2) Copiers -- They are Female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm them up again. It's an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed. 3) Tire -- Male, because it goes bald and it's often over-inflated. 4) Hot Air Balloon -- Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under it, and of course, there's the hot air part. 5) Sponges -- Female, because they're soft, squeezable and retain water. 6) Web Page -- Female, because it's always getting hit on. 7) Subway -- Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people up. 8) Hourglass -- Female, because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom. 9) Hammer -- Male, because it hasn't changed much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around. 10) Remote Control -- Female. Ha! You thought it'd be male. But consider this -- it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying.
