If you were the manager of the Phillies...

Featured Replies

If you were the manager of the Phillies, would you want your team out on the field before Saturdays game to see the Marlins world series ring ceremony or would you want your team in the clubhouse not watching?

it would be weird for any team, but imagine what the phillies would feel like

i think i'd keep them in the clubhouse

the expos were there for all the awards stuff, but i think this is a bigger deal

I'd shoot myself because my name would be Admin Bowa

Let the players make their own decision. If they want to see it, so be it. If not, it really isn't a big deal either.

If I were Admin Bowa, I would resign before the game because I can't get the maximum potential out of my players (see 2003's Pat Burrell and so far 2004's Bobby Abreu) that Jack McKeon can

I'd probably support this, although I agree with others when they say that watching the Marlins get their rings could fire them up. Either way, it's a public humiliation for the Phillies, I'm glad the ring ceremony coincided with this series. :hat

Let them see it. You will never see a team in as much agony and have feelings of revenge towards a team as you will see the phillies if they see that ceremony.

After I shot myself, I'd want to see the ring ceremony- hopefully it would fire up my players to achieve what the Phillies couldn't!

I agree. Admin Bowa is far from my favorite person. It won't matter how many great players and pitchers they have, he'll manage to cause trouble in the clubhouse and on the bench....you watch and see!
