mongoose
Nate Bump got an ear full from Jack McKeon. I love the way our coach got out there and let Bump have it. Did you all see Bump's eyes widen!? Did McKeon give Bump an ultimatum? I think Phelps overheard the wrath of Jack because when he replaced Bump, he struck out Thome looking- saving the inning. Libelula
Either Jack was extremely loud or Phelps has great hearing because he was still in the bullpen. :lol
mongoose
Phelps read his lips- or felt the heat of his anger all the way in the pen. When you see the head man red hot, you know it's time to focus. :lol
Guest Juanky
Yeah, that was hilarious. We gave Jack a standing O as he left the field for being such a Pimp.
TSwift25
McKeon also gave Bump an earful in S.T. I like the fire, get the guys going who are struggling, :thumbup
Lcyberlina
You did not have to have bionic ears to know Nate got yelled at by Jack... However, I think Jack was more upset at the empire than Nate. He was yelling crap at the Empire on his way to the mound and back to the bench. We thought they were going to throw him out.
MiRi
OMG that was hilarious! We were laughing so hard at how Jack just told the umpire off. We have a feeling he said something like, "And f*** you too!"
Wild Card
However, I think Jack was more upset at the empire than Nate. Damn Yankees. :lol
Maxx
That was hilarious, I'd love to know what he told him, although the way he was saying it told most of the story.

FishFan24
He didn't lead this team to a World Championship by being everybody's Grandfather last year :mischief If you **** up, then prepare to hear the wrath of Jack!
Guest Moneyball
does anybody know what mckeon said to bump? it must have been something like." you dirty son of b***h i've smoked better canadian cigars better than that if you don't K thome i;'m sending your ass back to AAA." PBMarlin
I would imagine it was something more along the lines of McKeon not wanting to see someone out of the pen blowing a perfectly pitched game from one of his starters by giving batter free passes. Throw strikes and make them work for it.
Guest Moneyball
bump hasn't pitched like he first pitched since that game the padres scored like 4 or 5 runs last year in the 9th
PBMarlin
Bump couldn't find the plate at all. Everything was outside. And every pitch looked the same....89-91 mph with a slight break. He looked very hittable.
Marlins2003
He looked very hittable. ... if he could have gotten the ball over the plate.
