The new balpark won't have a roof, so those in booth forecasts and radar pictures will come in handy lol stop hijacking my thread. and people wont GAF about weather forecasts during baseball games on tv or the radio.

April 18, 200422 yr Sea Bass > Damian Easley How? Sea Bass has been with Luis as a DP combo for his career and that is important. You got rid of Lee, which is OK, but getting rid of Sea Bass will put alot of pressure on Luis and there is no guarantee Easley won't pull a D-Ray if he gets more starts. He is fine on the bench.

April 18, 200422 yr We need to start Damian Easly more often. Maybe we should start him in Left Field. Conine will hit good again but first he needs to be 100% healthy. We are just struggling because Pierre isnt getting on base. Louie is getting the job done. He should be leadoff hitter for a couple of games.

They both basically play the same position. They serve the same role. there is no need for both. At least Gerald Williams would offer you something neither of them can offer you... Ability to play in the outfield fairly well....and more speed than both of them combined.

April 18, 200422 yr I dont no why the marlins only keep 11 pitchers. Most National League teams have 12 pitchers and 5 bench guys but for some reason we decide to have only 11 pitchers and 6 bench guys. What is the point of having Mordi on the team? -He has 1 at bat in the first 11 games -We have Easley who is better -He is a righty which we have 4 bench righties What is his use? Why not get that last roster spot and use it for a fresh arm off the pen? You never know when we will be in an extra inning game and be forced to use up all our pitchers. At least that roster spot is not going to be just a body to fill the last spot which we already have an excess of that position. Mordi=useless Relief man= great use
April 18, 200422 yr I wouldn't say Mordi is useless. He's a utility player (2nd, SS, 3rd) and our emergency catcher. Plus, he came off the bench a few times last year with extra inning heroics.

Ya if it wasnt for him getting that game winning homerun against atlanta or that 3 run double against the Cubs in NLCS there is no way that he would be on the team. And if that same situation came up this year he would not be the one which would be called upon to provide the hit. Mordi right now in the last option to pinch hit, other than the backup catcher.
