With better pacing and efficiency by the starter, the pen collapse would be a moot point. I actually agree with you but I don't blame it all on Penny. He wasn't throwing well in the early innings and was bailed out by Houston hitters. It was just a matter of time unitl the Astros picked up on it. And they did. And they drove him out the game. But he kept it close and that's what you want. A chance to win. I give it to Wayne because he killed us.

He knows the pen is marginal, yet he made no attempt to take this weak point out of the equation by lasting through the 8th - instead he opted to engage in a dick measuring contest with the radar gun that wore him out early. OK then, so if Oliver pitches this game we win?
