djm305
TUE: Beckett (4-3) vs Wilson (6-0) WED: Phelps (0-0) vs Van Poppel (2-1) THU: Penny (5-2) vs Harang (4-1) If Beckett and Phelps can have good performances I like our chances!
Shamrock
This should be a good series. I say we take 2 out of 3, winning the Penny and Phelps starts.

FreshFish
can you specify ERAs?
Marlins04
i say josh and penny each win with great starts and phelps pitches 5 great innings but bullpen fails so 2 out of 3 will be nice though because then we play the muts j.beck 8IP 2ER 8K's 1 BB marlins win 5-3 penny 7IP 1ER 6k's 2BB marlins win 6-2 phelps 5IP 1ER 4k's 1BB marlins lose 3-
PBMarlin
Beckett has not pitched well on the road this season...giving up 4, 4 and 6 ERs.
Shaq-Man
can you specify ERAs? sure, why not.. with the google toolbar it takes all of 20 seconds TUE: Beckett (4-3, 3.75) vs Wilson (6-0, 3.59) WED: Phelps (0-0, 3.00) vs Van Poppel (2-1, 3.90) THU: Penny (5-2, 2.10) vs Harang (4-1, 4.83)

catchoftheday
This should be a good series. I say we take 2 out of 3, winning the Penny and Phelps starts. someone is scared by Paul "the future of the mets" Wilson .... bah :whistle
rferry
I think Phelps is going to do real well. The Reds' strength are their bats so we'll have to bust our the slugging sticks if we hope to catch up with them.
NirvanaNole
wtf is up with Paul Wilson by the way? guy was almost on the scrap heap a couple of years ago. nice to see him pitching well. He learned how to pitch once his arm became damaged. It is a shame his arm gave out on him. I saw him pitch a lot when he was at FSU, and I think he had more natural talent than any pitcher on our staff. I wish some pitchers on our staff would look at Paul's career and learn from it. If our guys learned to pitch better instead of just throwing a fast ball, they'd become true elite pitchers instead of inconsistent pitchers.
