Talking about getting their stroke back, Jason Stokes has his average up almost 20 points this week to .250 and has raised his HR total from 5 to 9 this week, capped off by a 2HR game last night while going 4 for 4. Maybe Stokes will launch Lee out of a Marlin uniform soon enough. I wanted to post this because I noticed a lot of people were down on him when the Marlins demoted Adrian. But Stokes looks to be turning the corner (at least one of them is).

We all know those two have been better than Lee over the past 3 years overall, but right now Lee is doing better...I know you're in love with Dereck Lee and can't comprehend that Lee can't period(Don't mention 4-4 day last night because that beside the point).The day D.Lee shows some consistency at the plate and actually drive runs when it counts that will be the day D.Lee is worth something.Casey by far the better hitter and he actually can hit when the game is on the line.

Defensively I think Alex is second in the NL only to Edgar, so yes, he is elite. And if we are still talking about right now, he is not only an elite SS, but the best hitting SS in the NL...

June 5, 200323 yr I have been rooting for Lee all year because I really think he has the ability to put up big numbers, but he just hasn't produced when we need him too. It shouldn't be surprising when a player is struggling that the people let him have it, but when he's playing well he is praised. I don't know what's hard to understand about that. A couple of other first basemen I would add to the list that I would say are better than DLee: -Jeff Conine -Jeff Bagwell

Because if you are a real fan of the team, you are a fan of the player. And you should always stand by you players through anything...
