June 10, 200422 yr Wow, I'm old. Wasn't anyone else here alive when Carter was president? I was born when Ike was president. I remember the 60's like it was yesterday. The "duck and cover" nuke attack drills in grade school, Vietnam war, gas rationing, wage/price freeze, the opening of China, Watergate, Iran hostages, PLO weasles pitching wheelchair bound Leon Klinghoffer overboard on the Achille Lauro, Beirut, Granada, made the whole trip live. I was there (at Rockwell Downey CA as a shuttle flight computer engineer) when Columbia flew for the first time. What a trip that was - they took a kid straight out of college and threw me right into the soup. "We're flying in about 6 months - so you better learn this stuff real quick cuz the software on these DEU flight computers is YOUR responsibility!" What in the name of God are you talking about? @_@

June 10, 200422 yr I wish I was born in 1955...live the 60s (beatles) as a young teenager, and then live the 70s as a teenager/young 20s highschool/college kid. To see some of the bands of that era in person would be incredible.
