June 25, 200422 yr ok i must of missed something. what happened? He was warming in the pen last night and LaRussa didn't bring him in so he flicked him off from the bullpen. Not enough to warrant a trade if ya ask me.

June 25, 200422 yr Also, Tony LaRussa didn't even know Kline flipped him off until the press conference after the game where a reporter brought it up. In the press conference right after the reporter brought it up, Tony left the press conference and contronted Steve Kline in the showers about it, LMAO. The day after the incident, Tony joked with the media that he will never put Kline in another game as long as he's the manager, some people don't think he was joking though, lol.
June 25, 200422 yr If Larusa was serious Kline is a hell of a pitcher....if i were the marlins id make an offer for him...him in our pen makes us pretty solid...
June 26, 200422 yr If we get Kline i would be more than happy. He is a very solid proved pitcher in the MLB. He would certainly do the trick....
