Keep voting for Edgar everyone, Because we as NL Fans dont deserve to have Everett start for our playoff situations :thumbdown
June 28, 200420 yr A 6 vote lead is pretty insane. The SS position in the NL is in a serious state of suck, though.
June 28, 200420 yr That is close. I'll put one down for Edgar. He played for the local class A affiliate of the Marlins in his early years. Brevard County Manatees rock! (except now they're an affiliate of the Expos)

(except now they're an affiliate of the Expos) I live 5 minutes from Space Coast Stadium. I remember when Edgar played for the Manatees. He's my favorite marlins player of all time along with Conine.

The attendance has been down too. I actually worked at the stadium last summer. What an awesome job.
June 28, 200420 yr That is close.? I'll put one down for Edgar.? He played for the local class A affiliate of the Marlins in his early years.? Brevard County Manatees rock! The attendance has been down too. I actually worked at the stadium last summer. What an awesome job. I'll probably head out there tomorrow. The Manatees are playing the marlins single A affiliate Jupiter. I was crushed when the Marlins left, but now I'm just hoping we don't lose spring training altogether, because as you know the Expos situation is up in the air and who knows if the new ownership will decide to move the team from Brevard.
June 28, 200420 yr Yes, it's a beautiful stadium. It needs spring training and a minor league team there.
June 28, 200420 yr I used to live in Brevard(Indialantic) and remember when Edgar played for the Manatees. I have a set of Manatees cards around here somewhere with Renteria in it. I've voted for Edgar on all of my ballots(about 7 or 8). He's my all-time favorite Marlin.
June 29, 200420 yr edgar better start. he is clearly the best ss in the NL Jack Wilson of the Pirates is far and away having a better year than anyone in the NL...
June 29, 200420 yr Just sad, Morgan Ensberg over Mike Lowell, fans just vote for hometown players and not for players doing good in the season. That y im in favor that voting is over and go by stats.
June 29, 200420 yr edgar is having a down year. him and adam everett are both neck and neck statistically. but jack wilson is the best in the nl so far easily.
