When 2 moderators blatantly start personally attacking me and allow another to do the same, I would say the ignore button can fix the problems plaguing (sp) this site.

 

I honestly think if I was purely a marlins fan, I would be considered a thick headed and opinionated person, but livable. However, I being a Yankee fan (and even white in two cases) as opened me up to incessantly stupid personal attacks out of nowhere much of the time. It is bull, something the ignore button will not cure (and I think it only ignores PMs).

 

The idleness of the moderating here is not only frustrating to me, but everyone else here. It is frustrating to the people who find me frustrated, frustrating to those who are not in between anything and find their threads hijacked, it goes no where. Don't make me out to be satan whent he Mods aren't doing their jobs. There I said it. I hope people can now reflect on their actions.

that hypothesis couldn't be farther from reality. your being a yankee fan is probably your greatest strength on this board. if you haven't noticed, there are a number of fans of other teams on this board, and, on the whole, they are almost all well-accepted (with the exception of notable trolls on the marlins board).

 

no, on the contrary, i'd say out-of-towners and fans of other teams are more desired and looked upon more favorably than local commonfolk. the fact that you are a rarer breed of bird, so to speak, lets you get away with more than you realize. hell, i remember myself sending you a kiss-ass PM when you were attacked by sheff when you first came to the board...i'd bet money (10 dollars, even) that you received a number of other kiss-ass PMs essentially welcoming you--the rare bird--to our humble message board.
