July 26, 200421 yr I think that since Pudge was expected to leave, it wasn't as bad. Ricky was out of the blue and totally unexpected, so it stings more.

Seeing that I'm not a Marlins or Dolphins fan, I would have to say a guy with so much more potential in the prime of his career retiring and leaving an unproven backfield is much worse.

July 26, 200421 yr When we signed Pudge the Marlins knew it was a 1 year deal. Hopes were high afterwards. Ricky was expected to play his contract out considering how they built the franchise around him.
