June 23, 200322 yr Derrek has pounded Leiter, so hopefully he will come out of his mini-slump. Not sure if Redmond will get the start because Pudge has tomorrow off, but I'm hoping Jack starts Red. If Red does start I want to see A-Gon in the 3 spot because Pudge has too long underproduced at that spot.
June 23, 200322 yr Author Pudge is hitting .330+ over his past 14 games i think......... i hope Pudge plays
June 23, 200322 yr Author and? Glavine isnt pitching dude... oops i meant vs Al sry so you are wrong... he didnt hit a HR off him
June 23, 200322 yr My prediction : 7-4 fish HRS: Encarnacion , Pierre i dunno y but i just have a funny feeling Pierre is ganna go yard and 2morrow is ganna be the day , it ganna be the only one for the year but it ganna be 2morrow .
June 23, 200322 yr in batting practice? game is Tuesday i know game is tuesday .... i meant 2morrow thinking it was past 12am
June 23, 200322 yr Hoping to see Mets reliever Dan Wheeler just to see if he's for real. Last time around he made fools of us for three innings.
June 24, 200322 yr off course there ganna be HR one by Juan Pierre other by Encarnacion! i woul love to see a juan pierre homer. str8 to center field upper deck 529ft. lol...j/k..... if he did it would be barely over the RF wall but do you guys remember the bomb that galaragga hit against us off of dennis cook in 97'. str8 to center field upper deck. it was 529FT jesus christ can you imagine being at the stadium and seeing one of those
June 24, 200322 yr but do you guys remember the bomb that galaragga hit against us off of dennis cook in 97'. str8 to center field upper deck. it was 529FT jesus christ can you imagine being at the stadium and seeing one of those In '98 I went to see Big Mac and he hit a similar shot...
June 24, 200322 yr Don't know why I am so particularly excited about this Mets series. I mean, I am "wired." Guess I see it as a critical turning point. A chance to make a helluva statement (to fans and to Management). And having posited that D. Lee will have a great second half, I hope someone has convinced him that this is the Second Half!
June 24, 200322 yr A chance to make a helluva statement (to fans and to Management). And Baseball Tonight, The Herald, The Sentinal, and just about everyone else in the league. We need the Rockies and D-Backs to lose over the next few games, and us to win. If we sweep this series, we could carry MUCH needed mental momentum into these big series, that will tell our teams future. If we sweep, we're 2 over . 500, and that would be a hell of a way to go into the tough stretch we're about to enter.
June 24, 200322 yr but do you guys remember the bomb that galaragga hit against us off of dennis cook in 97'. str8 to center field upper deck. it was 529FT jesus christ can you imagine being at the stadium and seeing one of those Was there at the game...That's the day of the brawl also..Cook hit Galarraga. and well the rest is history. Alex G. hit one pretty darn far on Friday...That was great.
June 24, 200322 yr I am looking forward to the game, I'll be here. Not going to any of the games in the series.
June 24, 200322 yr Alex G. hit one pretty darn far on Friday...That was great. I was there. Off the bat you knew it was gone, but if you were there, you wondered jus how far. I thought it was gonna hit Paul Warfield's name, but it just missed... 444 feet I believe, but not sure...
