Derrek has pounded Leiter, so hopefully he will come out of his mini-slump. Not sure if Redmond will get the start because Pudge has tomorrow off, but I'm hoping Jack starts Red. If Red does start I want to see A-Gon in the 3 spot because Pudge has too long underproduced at that spot.

In '98 I went to see Big Mac and he hit a similar shot...

Don't know why I am so particularly excited about this Mets series. I mean, I am "wired." Guess I see it as a critical turning point. A chance to make a helluva statement (to fans and to Management). And having posited that D. Lee will have a great second half, I hope someone has convinced him that this is the Second Half!

A chance to make a helluva statement (to fans and to Management).

And Baseball Tonight, The Herald, The Sentinal, and just about everyone else in the league.

We need the Rockies and D-Backs to lose over the next few games, and us to win.

If we sweep this series, we could carry MUCH needed mental momentum into these big series, that will tell our teams future. If we sweep, we're 2 over . 500, and that would be a hell of a way to go into the tough stretch we're about to enter.

I was there.

Off the bat you knew it was gone, but if you were there, you wondered jus how far. I thought it was gonna hit Paul Warfield's name, but it just missed...

444 feet I believe, but not sure...
