LOL ESPN must have shown the score wrong on the ticker at the bottom the other day. They had it 14-0 Presbyterian and had Presbyterian's name highlighted.

everyone's told me that...some people who couldnt make the game were losing sleep over it.... no, it woulda been a shutout, but the backups gave up a TD

Screw UVA. Maryland's going to stomp them.

Basketball season ain't started yet dude. :plain

Funny.

Virginia basketball and football are a lot alike. They bring in very talented classes, but end up playing in the NIT or Continental Tire Bowl at the end of the season.

no love for the Hoosiers

after we beat the Ducks in Oregon next week, we should get some votes

Probably, or at least I hope so.....

Just remember, NIU doesn't fear the turtle, but we do respect it.

So you'll be proud when you lose 42-10 but cover the 34 and a half?

I think Indiana could probably take it to MSU, Illinois and N'Western this year.

MSU and Illinois I would guess Indiana could take.

Northwestern I doubt they could take....

Hey Iowa.....is it just me....or do Minnesota and Iowa look just as good as Michigan and Ohio St. this year....?

Ohio State rarely look good

:lol :lol :lol

Great point.....

But I mean I think Minnesota and Iowa may have just as good if not better teams than Ohio State and Michigan do.....

Well, I wasn't exactly impressed with our offensive effort on Saturday. Our defense, on the other hand, is awesome. We'll have our starting RB back next week, so that will help. Just need the OLine to get straightened out and our starting QB to not get dehydrated.

Minnesota's offense looked great. But they had a great offense last year... It's their defense that doesn't scare me. Purdue also looked very good.

Personally, I think anyone out of Michigan, Ohio State, Iowa, Wisconsin, Purdue or Minnesota can win the Big Ten. Should be very, very interesting.

Minnesota has a lot of defensive players back....if anything that helps them, plus, they did very well against a potent Toledo offense in their opener. And then they have one of the two best (along with Auburn) 1-2 punches at running back with Barber and Maroney in the nation.

I think Tate will be fine at QB, I think you will have a very good running game, and your defense is flat out sick. I personally think your team is similar to Ohio State, but I think you have a better offense.

Underwood looked awful for Michigan, so that's a concern for them at RB, and then they have the QB issue with Gutierrez's nagging injury and then the talented, but very inexperienced true freshie Chad Henne.

The only team i'm not high on in the list you gave is Wisconsin. They have a solid team, but I don't see them being a major factor in the Big 10 title race.

I thought Ohio State looked pretty good this past weekend.

Except for the turnovers :plain

Same could be said for Nebraska and also the Special Teams breakdown :plain

MSU and Illinois I would guess Indiana could take.

Northwestern I doubt they could take....

Im telling you, we got a solid team this year.... 6 wins, maybe MAYBE even 7 could happen

LoVecchio is a solid QB, we got a sick rb in Ben Jarvus Green Ellis, and some solid receivers

and finally, our D is all together for the 2nd or 3rd year

(note: when we lose 65-7 this week in Autzen disregard what I say above)

MSU and Illinois I would guess Indiana could take.

Northwestern I doubt they could take....

If Indiana wins 6 or 7 games, it would be akin to their national championship. 6-7 wins is 3 years worth of Hooisah "football."

I definitely think Indiana is better than the teams i said before (msu, illannoy, N'western)

well for a school who hasnt been in a bowl game since 1987, winning the Buy.com bowl would be awesome

Who knows? Cal is ranked 13th in the nation and just three years ago were in the bottom 10 in the nation. A good coach will take you FAR. And Jeff Tedford is the best coach in college football

the 3 best IMO (in any order)

Kirk Ferentz (Iowa)

Rich Rodriguez (West Virginia)

Jeff Tedford (Cal)

If you look at how Cal's football program was when Tom Holmoe left (1-11, probably one of the bottom 10 teams in the nation) compared to now, just three years later, where Cal is ranked 13th in the nation, is just amazing.
