AOL is the worst service provider out there.

AOL is the worst service provider out there.

Why? I love it and it goes faster than by other internet service (Compuserve).Im gonna get it, i dont know any better Interet Service than AOL??

Compuserve and AOL are the same company. Anyway, if you think AOL is fast that's just because you haven't used anything else.

Start explaining how it's the best...

My local internet is faster than AOL, That's pathetic!

Go with Earthlink. I used them back when I had dial-up and they were Awsome. I never once had a problem with them. If you use broadband, I think Earthlink now has a broadband service too.

screw aol.

used them for three weeks while waiting for my dsl connection to be installed.

worthless...then its difficult as hell to cancel.

I have Roadrunner in San Antonio and SBC Yahoo! DSL in Dallas.

Both work fine and there is no need in reality for any of those companies crap.

Just get your connection and GO!

  • 4 weeks later...

If you have a DSL modem you could use to connect to AOL.It went fast. I tried and it worked but I'm going to cancel my AOL account since i recently got Comcast.

AOL sucks my a$$. you try to cancel and they keep billing your credit card.

Get a Cable modem, you'll be much happier. Although my cable modem at home seems kind of slow since I'm on at work a lot and we have a T1 line here. poor me.

Bellsouth DSL my friend

AOL sux big time, but long live free AIM!

Ok, I'm a beta tester...

Superbuddy icons = WORST IDEA! they seriously suck...

Direct Connect and File Sending is great but its been done, its called AIM, why pay for AOL?

Not to mention the welcome screen is extremely big and can't be shortened

Other useless features all over the place...

If they don't fix it in the final release then 9.0 will be awful and you shouldn't get it

for aol dialup which is some 20 bucks a month or so....

you can get connection for 10 bucks a month.

there is no need for any of that added crap that aol offers....not only is it unnecessary, but it is confusing and just full of crap.

i used aol for about 2 weeks. it sucked. the aol browser is crap.

everything aol offers is crap.

aol is also the company that has thrown Time Warner into the crapper.
