We all know that a ton of people, even many republicans voted for Kerry based solely on the "ABB" anybody but Bush premise, well Bush won't be running in 08 and the democrats won't be getting those ABB votes. Do the dems even have a chance to win the presidency within the next decade?

That is not a true statement, this country is not about to elect anyone as liberal as Kerry is, Dean or even Edwards, Clark may of had a chance, but this country spoke and more people elected Bush than in any other election ever

I think theyre gonna do what im hearing they are, look for young(younger) southern democrats, like the governors from indiana, virginia, and NM i believe.

Bob Graham would have beat Dubya. Graham would have delivered FL. People still like him here and he's always gotten a lot of crossover vote. The silent majority that crushed Kerry would have stayed home if Graham were running.

Yeah, but that's only cuz youre jewish...republican jews are a tiny, tiny proportion of the electorate. In fact, I'd bet that there are more anti-semitic dems who wouldn't vote for joe than republican jews.

 

I think the dem candidates with the best chances of winning were Bob Graham (true antiwar, true southerner, true values, florida's 27 EV) and possibly Wes Clark.

liberman is trash.

I voted for Kerry twice (once in the Dem. Florida primary, once in the actual election). I knew he was the best choice out of all the Democratic candidates, and I would have picked Al Sharpton before Bush anyway.
