July 6, 200323 yr Any deal involving an OF like Dunn will have to coincide with a trade of Lee so Cabs can play first...or the acquired OF will play first. Otherwise there is no room for the traded player. You keep Lee at 1B, Dunn in LF and you send Cabs down to AAA 'till next season. But after games like this, I want to keep Brad around...
July 6, 200323 yr have you ever seen a left handed third, second or shortstop? I know of one left handed catcher in the late 80s..forget his name. Had a cup of coffee with the Pirates.
July 6, 200323 yr so if we get Dunn you send down Cabs? brilliant I'm with you Ramp... No way FIsh sent down Cabs.I would leave Cabs in LF and play Dunn at 1b.Dereck Lee can be traded for pitching.
July 6, 200323 yr Crazy Number Listen up..... Miggy in 50 Bats has 4 jacks..... Average MLB player who starts every day gets about 500+ at bats..... if miggy had played from the get go he would have been projected to hit 40 Jacks with 500 at bats..... 40 BOMBS!!!!!! this kid is special not to say dunn isnt, but DUnn is one those guys Great Pop Bad hitting..... DUNN Batting AVerage would prove that... maybe you can fix him and give him tips i dunno..... but i would not Trade D.Lee's great Defense 4 DUNN..... and just think of it as Miggy grows up he will just get bigger and bigger AKA sosa aka Bonds aka BIG MAC..... man, i know its his 1st year but i wanna lock em up till he like 40 years old!!!
July 6, 200323 yr Left hander Mike Squires played a little 3B and C for the Pirates (or CWS, I forget) in the early 80s.
