Larger avatars

Featured Replies

Would it be possible to let us have larger avatars? I mean, it won't put a burden on MB.com or anything since all avatars are hosted from a third party and not uploaded to the actual forum like other places.

It actually is Uploaded to Admin's server, if am correct.

Only if you upload them, but if you put a link im not sure.

I have seen sites with bigger avatars then these, and IMHO they distract you from what you write and it looks fugly.

80 x 80 seems to be the standard when it comes to avatar size, and it works pretty well. The problems start for modem users when avatars either get bigger than that or are animated. I think our current size is a good balance.

Admin,

I know you said that 80 x 80 avatar is a good size but could you think about making it 100 x 100... I know alot of sites where they make avatars and all their avatars are 100 x 100 and it takes awhile to resize them for this site :)

Just thought I would ask!

Thanks :)
