Who's the Greatest QB of All Time???

Featured Replies

again, huge peyton fan here, but montana is the best ever, tied with marino in my book, but montana gets it for me...when favre retires, he will be in top 3, and peyton will be too

Dan the Man

Kurt Warner

:lol

Joe Montana

Marino a close second

Unitas

Johnny Unitas.. but i voted for Warner because he is the man. A few years back for senior prom, he was at the same restaurant we were all at and he bought the whole restaurant their dinner. Yep, that's my Kurt Warner story.

It's not Favre i can tell you that.

Favre's won 1 more Super Bowl and been to 1 more Super Bowl the the Eagles have in their entire history.

Favre's also won more MVP's by himself then all Eagles combined since the Super Bowl era.

To run through Favre's career accomplishments...

- 368 passing TD's (2nd most all time, and if Favre plays 2 more years its nearly impossible that he doesn't break Marino's all time mark)

- 48,000 passing yards, I believe that's 3-6 all time

- Best Home Winning Percentage of any QB EVER

- Best Winning Percentage (Total WP%) of any QB since 1950

- 10 Playoff Apperances in 13 Seasons

- 5 NFC North/Central Division Titles

- 2 Super Bowl Apperances (Twice as much as the Eagles have been to)

- 1 Super Bowl Championship (that's one more then the Eagles have)

- The 3rd Highest QB Rating Ever (only Montana's is higher)

- 219 Conesecutive Starting Streak (never missed a start, and that number includes playoffs)

- Most 30+ TD pass seasons (7) ever by any QB

- Most 20+ TD pass seasons (11) ever by any QB

and finally...

just last week Favre became the ONLY player, coach, or executive (Front Office Personnel Person) to beat all 32 NFL teams (when he was with Atlanta in 1991 the Falcons beat the Packers)

Not bad huh?

Favre is the greatest QB of all time because no QB has the combination of stats (TD, yds) and Wins (Super Bowls, WP%) that Favre does.

Favre has better Winning Percentages then Marino, Elway, Montana, Aikman, Young, or any other QB since 1950.

He's won a Super Bowl which Marino hasn't done.

He's got over 300 touchdown passes which Young, Aikman, and Montana all don't have. (John Elway has 300 exactly still 68 below Favre's total)

He's the ultimate ironman.

He's the best, period.

Wow...you are lame...Favre is good....certainly not the best by a longshot....the best QB of all time is not .500 on the road....the best QB of all time does it when he doesnt have WR's to throw to.

Now i'm not endorsing McNabb for greatest of all-time but the man is a consistent pro bowl QB and he's done it with the following WR's: Charles Johnson, Torrence Small, James Trash, Todd Pinkston, Na Brown, Billy McMullen, Chris T Jones.....I'm sorry but that's spectacular. Your now seeing his potential with a real WR on the team. He's gotta be Top 3 currently playing in the league with Brady and Manning.

McNabb :banghead

You've reached a whole new level of homerism my friend.

Favres not the best quarterback ever but he's easily one of the best ever.. easily Top 10.

and if you think otherwise, you don't know crap about football.

and I'm a huge bears fan.

Favre hasn't had the benefit of a good group of WR's ever until now.

Yes Favre had Sterling Sharpe for 2 years. Robert Brooks only had 1 All Pro Year. Freeman only had 1 All Pro Year as well.

Not until Javon Walker, Donald Driver, and Robert Ferguson has Favre had that kind of weaponry.

Say, Favre is .500 on the road true. But he has the best Winning Percentage of any QB since 1950, that includes MCNABB, MARINO, MONTANA, and ELWAY.

Winning period is what counts. Last time I checked, we still play home games in the NFL.

McNabb top 3 in the NFL? Are you forgetting Culpepper (and it kills me to say that!)

Right now in the NFL...

1. Peyton Manning

this is how much better Manning is then everyone else

2. Daunte Culpepper

3. Brett Favre

4. Donovan McNabb

5. Tom Brady

McNabb is a talent no doubt about it.

Lie, lie, lie, lie, lie. Only leads me to suspect what else in your rant is untrue.

I can't believe you ranked Culpepper even in the Top 5. He's way way way too inconsistent.

Where's Doug Williams?

The funniest story ever:

After the Super Bowl Williams played in a reporter asked him, "How long have you been a black quarterback?"

If you don't know why thats funny..... you're an idiot.
