I'll take Trevor Hutchinson

So if theres ever a time when you need a veteran to take over and fill in a few crucial starts you want to to be a Major League debut from a solid one day at best pitcher

Gotta make his debut sometime

Trevor Hutchinson, Nate Bump, Justin Wayne, Frank Castillo, Ben Howard and the Carolina Quintet are better than all of those.

There's a reason why these veterans have not been signed yet, and it's not reputation in the clubhouse. They are replacement-level pitchers, or worse (Olympian Simontacchi), who have no better of a chance of reeling off a few solid starts than any rookie right out of the minors.

I actually wouldnt mind any of those. Just offer 500,000 and who ever accepts it they can sign. Odds are that that someone will get hurt in our rotation and we will need between 5-10 starts from someone other than our 5. Moss, Astacio, Daal, etc... would be much better than the garbage we called up last year. Atleast with these guys we would have a chance to win, unlike last year with Kensing or whatever the hell his name is, it was an automatic loss

I think Damien Moss is a solid pitcher with some potential. Jeremi Gonzalez, on the other hand, is terrible.

Only at the right price though, im not tlaking about signing a guy to a 1mil deal

Didnt we just sign mercir for 1 mil? I would rather have Astacio

I would take Pedro Astacio and Damian Moss, hopefully if we dont sign them to a monor league contract maybe and invitation to spring training. they can prove themself there. i'll take those 2 over any of the guys that spot started for us last year.
