This team reminds of a university/college program. We have good young players for 4 yrs n then they are gone and we go after younger players. It's a cycle that has been going on for a while. I thought it would stop after getting the new ballpark and the way the free agency went this year. They didnt give this team a chance 1/2 season n they broke it up. If the marlins were running the Heat they wouldve broken up the big 3 last season when they started slow. Think about this y would a free agent or a player within the organization (stanton) want to sign a long term deal eith no trade clause when the team has a reputation of trading you at any point. Y would you want to set up your family here n then relocate to a place u might not want to be at. Couple of years ago i said I would've love to see what Miggy n Hanley could do together and that didn't happen b/c miggy was fat n lazy n bad for the clubhouse n look how good hes doing in Det. I said the same thing this year with hanley n reyes but we won't get to c it.

you can blame Fredi for leaving Pinto in against a righty with Kensing ready, then bringing Kensing in against a righty. He's a moron. You know who else was available? Rhodes, maybe Hendrickson. Why do people and Fredi insist on giving Hermida the day off and start Gonzalez. I know Gonzalez had a good game in NY but if he is going play he needs to play for Willingham. Every time there's a single to rf w/ a runner on 1st, its and easy 1st to third run. I know Jeremy is not hitting that good but c'mon Willingham is lost out there! If your going play gonzalez then play him in LF and have Hermida in RF. Hermida is batting better then willingham. Do we have anyone in the minors that can hit and play the OF?

(more than w/ Manny) He would bat Cleanup and Cantu will only see strikes. 2. Would not cost us anything 3. He's not worst then Manny or Willingham defensively. 4. You can Platoon him w/ Willingham/ 3 games or 4 games for Barry and 3 or 4 games for Willy. 5. He would sell tickets (all the money hungry people would want to catch a HR just to sell it) 6. Another Lefty Bat that would make it 4 Righties and 4 Lefties possibly in 1 game. Stats. 2006. Avg. 270 Slg. 545 OBP .454 (something Marlins don't do) HR. 26 Rbi's 77 BB. 115 (130 games) 2007.
