To be honest, I dont like Fredi's approach on fundementals, but this all fell on the pitching here. I ticks me off when time after time no-out doubles arent scoring because Fredi sends his hitters up swinging away. BUNT for god sakes. guarantee the run, Notice how many games we have lose by 1 or 2? Its because of this. But this situation... 10% Fredi for not pulling the pitching by the right strings, 90% pitching for actually screwing it all up, split between the two guys.

Have you ever thought that Ramirez is better against Lefties :thumbup also you cant hold on to a bullet. At that point you bring in Nelson. Forget the 8th you worry about that when it gets there. Also Volstad should've never been out there in the 7th. he almost has 100 pitches. Plus Pinto is more comfortable starting the inning then coming in the middle. He has said this himself. Why does fredi continue to bring him in. Atleast make him start the inning maybe its a little diff.

He doesn't take ppl out until they have been killed past the point of no return.... :banghead the move that freddi made that i found questionable was allowing volstad to start the seventh when he had already 98 pitches. the time that freddi needs to take a pitcher out he doesnt and when he doesnt he does like when ricky had i believe the same pitch count as volstad going into the ninth and freddi took him out eventhough ricky had alot better control throughout the game than volstad did today

Gonzo out, Hermida stays, Amezaga center, ROSS LEFT, not Gonzo, although idk if that would have made a difference... and it wasn't a thought out thing because Fredo ran out to go in the game and got out there and was pointing back into the dugout trying to find out who he was going in for... could have made that move, but w/e... like I said might not of made a difference. Kensing was ready to go, and Freddi could have put him in there... Kensing was standing around while Pinto was getting rocked... Kensing was already warm... and could have gone in right after Edmonds was pinch hit for. (I was there.)
